8:00 a.m.

Jennie woke up with a smile, the previous evening's memories still fresh in her mind. As she went downstairs, she found Ari already at the breakfast table, excitedly chattering about Taehyung.

"Mom, do you think Uncle Tae liked the dinner?" Ari asked, her eyes sparkling. "I think he loved it, sweetie," Jennie replied, pouring herself a cup of coffee. "He seemed very happy."

Ari beamed. "Can we invite him over again soon?"

Jennie smiled warmly. "We'll see, Ari. Let's not rush things."

2:00 p.m.

Later that afternoon, Jennie was working in her home office when the doorbell rang. Ari ran to open it and was surprised to see Taehyung standing there with a bouquet of flowers.

"Uncle Tae! What a surprise!" Ari exclaimed, stepping aside to let him in.

"Hello, Ari. I hope I'm not intruding," Taehyung said, smiling.

Jennie walked into the porch, surprised to see Taehyung. "Taehyung, what brings you here?" she asked, trying to hide her delight.

"I wanted to thank you again for the wonderful dinner and spend some more time with both of you, if that's alright," Taehyung replied, handing her the flowers.

"Of course, come in," Jennie said, accepting the flowers with a blush.

As they sat in the living room, chatting and enjoying tea, Taehyung brought up a topic that caught Jennie off guard.

"Jennie, there's something I feel you should know," Taehyung began, his tone serious. "I've been looking into some business matters and came across some information about your company."

Jennie's interest was piqued. "What is it, Taehyung?"

"I found out that someone has been trying to undermine your company's reputation. False rumors and misleading information have been circulating, and I believe it's deliberate," Taehyung explained.

Jennie's eyes widened in shock. "Do you have any idea who might be behind this?"

"I have some leads, but I didn't want to pursue them without discussing it with you first," Taehyung said, looking concerned.

Jennie nodded, taking a deep breath. "Thank you for bringing this to my attention, Taehyung. We need to get to the bottom of this." He nods and smiles.

The conversation shifted back to lighter topics as the afternoon wore on. Jennie and Taehyung discussed potential business strategies and how they could work together to strengthen her company.

"I think with a few strategic changes, we can turn things around," Taehyung suggested.

"I appreciate your help, Taehyung. I really do," Jennie said sincerely.

"Anything for a friend," Taehyung replied with a warm smile.

Ari, who had been listening quietly, chimed in. "Uncle Tae, can you stay for dinner again?"

Taehyung chuckled. "I'd love to, Ari, but I have some things to take care of. How about another time?" Ari nodded, satisfied. "Okay, promise?"

"Promise," Taehyung said, ruffling her hair.

As Taehyung prepared to leave, he turned to Jennie. "I'll keep you updated on what I find out about those rumors. In the meantime, take care, Jennie."

"You too, Taehyung. Thank you again," Jennie replied, walking him to the door.

After Taehyung left, Jennie sat down, feeling a mix of gratitude and anxiety. She knew she had a lot to tackle, but with Taehyung's support, she felt more confident.

Jennie's friends, Jisoo, Chaeyoung, and Lisa, were still unaware of Taehyung's existence and the fact that they were supposed to be set up on a blind date.

After a few hours of chatting and laughter, Ari crouched down beside her mother and murmured something that Jennie could barely hear.

"Can I sleep at Dad's place?" Ari repeated softly.

Jennie leaned in closer. "Ari, I could barely hear you. Can you speak properly?"

Ari took a deep breath and repeated more clearly, "Can I sleep at Dad's place?"

Jennie was initially taken aback, as Ari is expecting a frown or rejection. Instead, her face lit up with a warm smile.

"Of course, sweetheart. Why wouldn't you? Your dad and Aunt Lisa would be happy to have you stay with them. You can stay for as long as you want."

Ari's eyes lit up with joy. She immediately hugged her mother, showering her with pecks. "Thank you, Mom! You're the best!"

Jennie chuckled and gently patted Ari's back. "Stop now, Ari. When do you want to go to their house?"

"Now," Ari replied eagerly.

In prompting manner, Jennie called Lisa and told her everything which the couple got excited in a seconds.

Jennie helped Ari pack a small overnight bag. She watched her daughter's excitement with a mix of happiness and nostalgia.

"Don't forget your toothbrush," Jennie reminded as Ari stuffed a few more items into her bag.

"I got it, Mom," Ari replied, zipping up the bag with a grin.

As they walked to the door, Jennie knelt down to Ari's level. "Have fun, sweetie. And remember, if you need anything, just call me."

Ari nodded enthusiastically. "I will, Mom. See you tomorrow!"

With a final hug, Jennie watched as Ari left for her dad's place, her heart feeling both full and a bit empty.
