"Guys, Jin and I are planning to have our wedding at the beach. We'll book some rooms to stay after the event so we can hang out," Jisoo beamed, sharing the exciting news with her best friends.

"Where is that?" Chaeyoung asked, curiosity piqued.

"It's a resort in Jeju. We'll invite around 50 people, including our parents, Jin's younger brother, your boyfriends, and Ari. That makes 13 of us, so we need 37 more people to invite. How about you, Jen? You can bring your crush along," Jisoo said, smirking at Jennie.

Jennie scoffed playfully. "He's busy," she replied casually.

Although Jisoo was just teasing, she didn't expect Jennie's response. The three women widened their eyes in surprise.

"So, there really is someone!" Chaeyoung cheered with a big smile, echoed by Jisoo and Lisa.

"Girl, who is this lucky guy? Is he a colleague or a stranger?" Lisa bombarded her with questions.

"I may not tell you now, but sooner or later, you'll meet him," Jennie said, knowing they'd all meet at Jisoo and Jin's wedding. She wasn't ready to reveal everything just yet.

Truthfully, he wasn't exactly her crush, but Jennie didn't know why she said that.

"So, Lis, how's Ari at your house?" Jennie asked, missing her daughter after just one night.

"She's getting along well with her dad. I'm really happy she's starting to forgive him. She doesn't deserve to hold onto that resentment," Lisa remarked, and the others agreed.

"By the way, Tae- I mean my crush wants to meet you all someday," Jennie almost slipped Taehyung's name but caught herself in time.

"Oh, I'm really excited. I wonder if he's adorable or a handsome man," Chaeyoung exclaimed, clapping her hands in delight.

"Don't you dare," Jennie glared playfully.

"Chill. We won't take him from you," Jisoo teased, and they all giggled.

"So, are you guys staying over at my place tonight? Have you asked your men for permission?" Jennie asked to make sure.

"Don't worry, Jen. They know. Tonight is all about us—drinking and enjoying ourselves," Lisa cheered excitedly.

The evening was filled with laughter, stories, and heartfelt conversations. As they sat in Jennie's living room, glasses of wine in hand, the friendship and support they shared were memorable. Each of them cherished these moments of togetherness, knowing how rare and precious they were.

In the middle of their conversation, Jennie's phone buzzed. It was a message from Taehyung. Jennie texted him earlier about what she has been doing now with the ladies.

"How's the girls' night going?" the message read.

Jennie smiled at her phone. "It's great. We're talking about Jisoo's wedding plans. How about you? Busy day?"

"Yes, but I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. Have fun tonight," he replied.

"Thanks, Tae. You too," Jennie texted back, her heart fluttering.

Jisoo noticed Jennie's smile. "Is that your mystery man?"

Jennie blushed. "Maybe." She teased.

The night continued with more laughter and planning for the upcoming beach wedding. Jennie couldn't help but feel grateful for her friends and the potential of something more with Taehyung. As they clinked glasses and toasted to love and friendship, Jennie felt a warmth in her heart, hopeful for what the future might bring. A positive or a negative one.

The next morning, the living room was a mess. Champagne bottles, empty snack bags, and vapes were scattered across the floor, remnants of the fun night Jennie and her friends had enjoyed. The smell of alcohol still lingered in the air.

As the sunlight streamed through the windows, Jennie stirred awake. She groaned, holding her head as a headache from last night's festivities struck her. Determined to get on with her day, she slowly made her way to the kitchen.

Despite the urge to puke, Jennie busied herself preparing breakfast. She brewed four cups of hot coffee and cooked eggs, bacon, and toast, the smell filling the apartment. As the food sizzled, Jennie felt slightly better, the routine helping her push through her hangover.

Once breakfast was ready, she was about to wake the girls when her phone buzzed. It was Taehyung calling.

"Good morning, Ms. Beautiful Kim Jennie. Are you free today to discuss some business matters?" Taehyung's cheerful voice came through the phone.

Jennie felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. "Good morning, Tae. I can make time for that. I'll be a bit late, but meet me in my office. I'll have my secretary open it early."

"No problem, Jen. I'll see you later," he said, ending the call.

Jennie found herself smiling, her cheeks flushing pink. Lost in her thoughts, she didn't notice her friends waking up and watching her with amused expressions.

"Good morning, Jen. Who's this 'Tae,' huh?" Chaeyoung teased, raising an eyebrow.

Jennie blinked, momentarily confused. "Let's eat breakfast. Come on now," she said, quickly changing the topic.

The girls sat around the table, enjoying the breakfast Jennie had prepared. The atmosphere was light, filled with playful banter and laughter.

Later, Jennie arrived at her office. Taehyung was already there, going over some documents. He looked up and smiled as she walked in.

"Hey, Jennie. How was your night?" he asked, a hint of amusement in his voice.

"Eventful," Jennie replied, smiling back. "Let's get to work. What do we need to discuss?"

As they settled into their business talk, the atmosphere shifted to a more serious tone. They reviewed quarterly reports, discussed strategies, and brainstormed ideas for their upcoming project.
