It was a bright and promising day. Taehyung and Jennie had been enjoying each other's company immensely lately, sparking an undeniable chemistry between them. They often referred to their outings as "friendly dates," though neither could fully express their feelings for the other—perhaps not today, perhaps not tomorrow.
Ari stood at the entrance of the apartment, her small suitcase by her side. Jennie knelt down, embracing her daughter tightly.
"Did you have fun at Aunt Lisa's?" Jennie asked, her voice full of warmth.
Ari nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, but I missed you, Mom."
"I missed you too, sweetie. Come on, let's get you settled in," Jennie said, taking Ari's hand and leading her inside.
Later that afternoon, Jennie and Ari went for a walk in the park. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, creating a picturesque backdrop as Ari chattered about her time with her dad.
"I'm glad you're getting along with him," Jennie said softly, a hint of hope in her voice.
Ari looked up at her mother with a thoughtful expression. "Yeah, he's trying hard. I think he's really sorry. He wants to make up for all the lost years."
Jennie nodded, her heart swelling with a mix of relief and sadness. "That's good to hear. At least you're getting to know him."
After a moment of silence, Jennie took a deep breath. "Ari, can I ask you a question?"
"Is everything alright, Mom?" Ari asked, her face showing concern.
"Would you mind if Mom loved someone?" Jennie nervously asked, her voice trembling slightly.
Ari smirked, teasingly. "Is it Uncle Tae?"
"N-No, Ari," Jennie stammered, looking away.
"Your eyes never lie, Ms. Jennie Kim," Ari playfully folded her arms and faced her mother. "You've liked Uncle Tae since the day you brought him home."
Jennie blushed, trying to hide her feelings. Ari continued, beaming, "I like him for you, though. Plus, he is handsome, and you both would make a great couple to create a mini you and him."
Jennie's eyes went wide with surprise. "Ari!" she exclaimed, her face turning crimson.
Ari giggled, hugging her mother. "It's okay, Mom. I just want you to be happy."
Jennie hugged her daughter tightly, feeling a wave of love and gratitude. "Thank you, Ari. That means a lot to me."
As they continued their walk, Jennie couldn't help but feel hopeful about what would happen, knowing that her daughter supported her happiness.

When they got home, they saw Taehyung waiting outside, holding a bouquet of blue roses.
"Uncle Tae!" Ari immediately recognized him. She let go of Jennie's hand and ran over to Taehyung, who opened his arms to engulf her.
"How are you?" Taehyung asked softly.
"I'm fine, Uncle. How about you?" Ari replied, her eyes sparkling.
"Never better, sweetheart. I see you're still wearing the necklace I gave you the day we first met." Taehyung ruffled her hair as Ari beamed.
Jennie stood a few meters away, smiling at the sight. Taehyung finally noticed her, his expression softening as their eyes met.
Ari, carrying her small suitcase, went inside, leaving the two adults staring into each other's eyes.
Taehyung walked up to Jennie, holding out the bouquet. "For you," he said with a shy smile.
