The newly revived dragon stretched his wings out and yawned. "Oh my, it has been a while... I feel so sore." Slowly, he looked at Astraea "tell me, child, how long has it been?" She puffed her chest and smiled "sadly, it has been a little over 4 000 years, master." Scarletnight frowned and looked at her wounds "oh my, you're hurt."

Astraea just laughed "a meek price to pay for reviving you, these imbeciles tried to keep you from coming back. I merely had to succeed. This is nothing." She stated, waving her wing to the others. Scarletnight then took the time to look at the other dragons present. He first noticed the wounded Whiteout "you must be the sacrifice, thank you so much for your help, tell me, what is your name?"

"Her name does not concern you."

Looking at the dragon who spoke, Scarletnight's eyes landed on Souleater who was frowning. "Ah, I remember you. The years have not been kind to you my friend." The Nightwing growled in response, only for Scarletnight to look at Maka. "Ah, my love, it has been a while-" "I'm not your love." She hissed before gesturing to the white Nightwing "I'm his."

"Still as stubborn as always," the cannibal sighed while shaking his head "no matter. You will learn to love me." Maka just hissed back. "Well," he said, turning to Astraea "I think you kindly for you help, uh..."

"Astraea, my lord."

"Astraea, what a lovely name. Well then, Astraea, I thank you for your help, however..."

"GAH-!"

Whiteout turned away and Aardvark shielded her from the sight with his wing. Jet just growled and allowed the smoke to curl around his horns. Kelp almost threw up and Snowslide just stook in absolute horror along with Winter.

Scarletnight took his Sandwing tail and thrusted it across Astraea's chest and made an 'X', and she fell to the floor with a thud. "A harmed dragon is of no use to me. Farewell."

The poison made it's way through the bloodstream, leaving black veins along the wound which slowly engulfed her entire body. She convulsed horribly and shook on the floor as if she was the source of an earthquake.

Looking at each other, the opposing dragons gave a silent nod to each other and they began to glow. Noticing their sudden luminescence, Whiteout looked at her ring along with Aardvark's and noticed the gemstones were also glowing. "Time to put him away." They both said to the foe who smiled and held his talon up

"I'm sorry, not going to happen."

Just then, there was a bright light coming from Scarletnight's claw and then the wind swirling around them. After another flash, both dragons fell to the floor, only to slowly stand on their own and look around confused. "

Looking up at each other, they noticed their colour has completely returned, and they weren't even transparent, but breathing, living, dragons. They took a long moment to look at their new bodies, more like their old ones. Then, they faced each other and looked at one another. Soul made the first move, gently reaching up to touch Maka's cheek and smiled "you're still so warm," chuckling, she leaned into his touch and replied "and you're still cold."

"What did you do to them?!" Winter yelled with a stern voice, standing and then going next to Souleater, who was actually the same height. Scarletnight just smiled innocently "I brought them back. Even though it might be impossible, it helped since they weren't really dead dead, they had their souls intact. I just gave them their bodies. Now, they are like every other living dragon!"

"And the spell?" Jet asked to Soul who looked back and shook his head "Maka and I aren't in the rings anymore, which means it won't do anything." Thankfully, Souleater could still fell his Animus magic tingling in his claws, so that was good.

With a sigh, Scarletnight spoke again "Fearburning gave me the power to do one spell, I changed nothing about you both, because I want you to love me, Maka. On your own terms." The Leafwing just stood behind her mate and glared at him. "Still, the answer is no."

"I'm disappointed, but not surprised. In time, I suppose. You have a second chance. Now, I can finish what I started. Conquering Pyrrhia. I shall unite all the tribes into one and then, we will all be free to do as we wish! Such a perfect place." The cannibal explained with a smile as he spread his wings, then, he stared at the rest before looking at Maka again "there will always be a place next to you as my queen, you are welcome to take it, love."

Whiteout tried getting up, but she was held in place by Aardvark "your wounds are too deep, Whiteout,  just relax and slow your circulation." "Whiteout." Scarletnight echoed, putting a claw on his chin "so good to finally know your name. You look odd, you have the same structure as a Nightwing, but you look like you were dipped in paint, part Icewing I presume?" He deduced, leaning her neck closer to take a look, "I'm her father." Winter stated proudly, ready to pounce on Scarletnight "well, thank you for your help in making a sacrifice, I should go thank the mother as well..."

"You go anywhere near her and I'll RIP OUT YOUR HEART!"

"Mh, so loud. I just got brought back so please lower your voice." He said, rubbing his ear, "well, then, I know these two told you a lot about me but I shall do an introduction myself then I'll get out of your scales..."

Bowing, he spoke softly, like the way Darkstalker did when he first met the Jade Winglet. "My name is Scarletnight, and I'm the Blood Moon Killer."
