"And then we got married shortly after," I smile and shrug my shoulders.

"Then you had us!" My 12 year old daughter, Ashley, grins.

"That's right!" Ed beams.

"I have a question," Ashley's twin sister, Macy, joins in, "why did you do that, mom?"

"Because I wasn't very smart. You girls promise to be smarter than me?" They nod their heads, "any other questions?"

"I have one," Ashley says, "Dad? Why did you want to get married after everything that happened?"

"Just because there may be bumps in the road, doesn't mean they will get in the way of two people who are in love," he looks at me and smiles.

"Eww," our twin daughters say in unison.

"Yuck, gross, disgusting!" Macy says.

"Yeah, we're going...away!" Ashley says as they march outside.

Ed and I laugh at our twins who have yet to understand. Laughs are slowly hushed by kisses.

"You know what?" Ed asks me, interrupting the peace and quiet, and our slow make out.

"What?"

"It's a good life."

(Wasn't expecting that, yeah?!?! That's all, folks! Hope you enjoyed! See you guys soon! Love you!)
