"Well, good morning, sleeping beauty," I said with a smile, watching her step into view. She was tying her kimono, her slippers making soft shuffling sounds against the floor as she moved around the island. She wrapped her arms around my waist, and I leaned back to kiss her lips.

"Mm, morning to you too, handsome," she murmured.

I grinned. "You don't look dressed for our morning workout."

She pouted, her eyes heavy with sleep. "Oh baby, I'm so tired. Can we skip the workout today?"

I glanced down at the two green juices I made for us, raising an eyebrow. "We could, but we've got your doctor's appointment at the fertility clinic in about three hours. We've got time to kill, and I already made the protein shakes and juices."

She laughed, reaching around me to grab one of the glasses. "Well, I can still drink the juice and have the protein shake on the go. I almost forgot about that. You smell good. Did you work out yet?"

I chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, you don't see all this sweat? But alright, I'm gonna go shower. Come join me."

She grinned mischievously, her eyes sparkling with playful intent. "Maybe I will," she said, siping the green juice. "But you know I might just stay here and enjoy this first."

I shook my head with a laugh and headed towards the bathroom, feeling her gaze follow me. The warm water cascaded over me, washing away the sweat and the remnants of sleep. I closed my eyes, enjoying the brief solitude, but it wasn't long before I heard the soft padding of her slippers.

The door creaked open, and she slipped in, her kimono slipping off her shoulders. "Decided to join me after all?" I asked, turning to face her.

She stepped into the shower, the water making her hair glisten. "I figured you'd need some company," she said, her voice soft and teasing. She ran her hands over my shoulders, her touch sending shivers down my spine despite the heat of the water.
