Chapter 34: Re-Planning

I want to apologize for not updating for almost a week. Wattpad deleted my first book, 'My Kinky Professor' and I didn't feel like writing. I spent a lot of time and effort into that book, and it just got deleted lol.

Anyway, I'm backkk; I'm not sure if I will continue with my other stories. This book may be my last one.

"That fucking prude got to know our plan," Damien exclaims, sitting on the hospital bed. Kabir sat comfortably on the couch, his fractured arm covered with plasters. "It's fine, at least we stole the shipment and put the girls in a safe place," Kabir sighs.

Yes, the mission in India was to save the girls and steal the stuff. They had managed to hide the girls somewhere back in India, safe from my father. My father's men attacked Damien, and Kabir, overpowering them. Damien and Kabir were dumb for going alone, but as long as they're safe. 

"I still don't understand, why you took that girl to your house," Damien sighs, as I look between them, confused. "What girl?" I ask. "We called the families of every single girl there, right? That girl refused to say anything, and instead of letting her go with the people to the Lekin house, he brought her into his home." 

The Lekin house was the place where girls, who didn't have families or a home to go to stayed until they got financially stable to move out. 

"Why did you do that?" I ask, Kabir shrugs in response. "She just clinged onto me, wouldn't let me go," He answers. "She wouldn't let you go, or you didn't want her to let you go," Damien interrupts, rolling his eyes. 

"Shut up, dude," Kabir exclaims, leaning back on the sofa. "Sorry, I'm late," Alec enters the room, with Min-Hoo by his side. Damien nodded at them. "How are you?" Min-Hoo asks, "I've been better," Damien answers, dryly. 

"Was the plan at least successful?" Alec asks, "Yep," Kabir responds. Min-Hoo and Alec sighs in relief, "That's good." I nod, "What's the next step?" I ask, "Now we wait, 2 days. Mafia's are punctual. If you are not useful to them, They kill you or break ties with you," Damien answers. 

I nod my head, "So we wait for them to break ties with Elijah, and then we kill dad?" Everybody nods their head. I sigh, "Sounds easy enough," I smile weakly. "It's not as easy as it looks. If Elijah manages to convince them for more time, we have to try again," My eyes widen, "I hope not," 

Suddenly, Edward enters the room, pecking my lips, while holding Luca. "Hi baby," I take Luca from him. "How was he?" I ask. Edward decided to take Luca to work with him. I told him, he didn't have to, but he insisted. 

"Very good, actually. He got pretty popular there," Edward chuckles. "I brought you guys some food," Edward holds up two bags of food. "Mexican?" I ask, "Yep, a bowl, your favourite," Edward smiles. 

"Thank you," I giggle. "I didn't know what you guys wanted so I just got some classic ones," He hands everyone a bowl of Mexican food. Everyone thanks him for bringing food for them. 

Lastly, he sits down beside me. "Let me feed you," He says, removing the plastic wrap. "I love you," I peck his cheek, "I love you too," He starts to feed me, while I hold the sleeping Luca in my arms. 

"How are you feeling?" He asks Damien. "Everyone was pretty worried for you," Damien nods, "I'm fine," Kabir clears his throat awkwardly. "Excuse me," He picks up a call. "Yes?" He answers. "She woke up?" His eyes widen. "I will be there in 15 minutes, Don't touch her," 

"Don't tell me you brought the girl here too," Damien sighs, while Alec and Edward frown, confused. Min-Hoo had no reaction whatsoever, he was just focused on himself as if he gave no fucks about anyone. 

"I have to go," Kabir stands up, ignoring his question; giving us a clear answer. "Thanks for the food, again," He says, before leaving. "I should also get going," Alec stands up, "Come over for dinner next weekend,"  Alec invites. "Meet my daughter, We can also discuss the marriage dates." 

"No need. I have the marriage papers ready," Alec frowns, "You mean a court marriage? No way, she is my daughter, I can't jus-" Damien cuts him off, "I don't care. I'm not interested in wasting them like that," Alec sighs, "Only because my daughter wouldn't want to do this anyway," He leaves. 

"Damien," Min-Hoo speaks up. Damien looks at him, "Are you sure, it's not a trap?" Edward looks at them confused. "What are you talking about?" Damien asks, "Alec marrying his daughter to you," Damien sighs, "I'm sure, it's just a little girl. We can divorce after a year if things don't work out, anyway,"

"I'd be careful if I were you," He advises, "Alec is unpredictable. He always has an ulterior motive behind his every move," Damien nods, "Thanks, I'll be fine, though," Min-hoo nods. "Take care, then," He stands up, throwing his trash in the garbage before walking out of the room. 

At that moment, Mom walks in with Hudson. "Hi Hud," Damien softly smiles at his son. "Dadda, are you okay?" Hudson runs to Damien, worried. "I'm fine, son," Hudson grins, "I was so worried for you, dadda," Damien ruffles his hair. "But I'm fine now, aren't I?" He chuckles.

"Yeah," Hudson giggles. I smile, looking at them while leaning on Edward's shoulder. "You didn't even greet me, love," I pout, Hudson quickly turns to me. "Hi, Auntie! I didn't see you there," He runs to me, jumping on the couch. "Careful," I laugh. 

"How's my cousin?" He softly pinches Luca's cheeks. "He missed you," I chuckle. "I missed him too! I can't wait till he grows up, and starts playing with me," Hudson squeals. Edward also chuckles at the cute little boy. 

"It's getting late, you guys should go. I'll see you tomorrow," I nod my head, standing up. Edward picks up Hudson. "Let's go, mom?" I ask, she nods her head, sparing a last glance at Damien. "Take care, baby," She says to him.

"Who wants Ice cream before we go home?" Edward asks. "ME," Hudson yells, excited. "Let's go!" We walk out of the room.
