Jason noticed that Christian's got baby fever.
"I'm a horrible person." Jason told Christian's siblings.
"Why would you say that?" Sarah asked.
"You're not the least bit horrible." Jacob spoke.
"Because I upset Christian." Jason explained to them.
Roger blew a raspberry. "It's not the first time you guys have fought."
"True. But this is the first time we've fought because we have different perspectives of what we want in our lives."
"Like what?" Jessie asked curiously.
"Children." Jason replied.
"Children?" Ashley questioned dumbly.
Jason exhaled. "I've been noticing lately that Christian ogles and oohs when there's a baby around. Even the crying ones in the restaurants and stores don't seem to slow him down." Christian's siblings glanced at one another.
"It's understandable." Jessie said. "Shifters, omegas especially, wants to procreate sooner or later."
"But I don't want little brats running around and making messes." Jason hissed out. "No offense to you and your children."
"We're starting to see the problem here." Jacob observed.
Jason frowned. "It's not that I hate children. I just assumed it would be just me and Christian only."
"You're acting like you're having kids tomorrow." Sarah told Jason. "Have you talked it over with our brother?"
Jason's eyes narrowed. "Talk, isn't the word I'd describe how our conversation went."
"What happened?"
"Christian was showing me a few pictures of friends online with their babies included, and casually mentioned how things would be when we have a family of our own."
"How did you react to his comments?"
"I may have shown attitude and opposition on the subject." Jason answered. "Then we got into a heated argument, and then I came to talk to you guys."
"You made it perfectly clear that you don't want kids?"
"Yup."
"And I take it Christian is upset about that."
"Very." Jason looked at John. "You don't want children neither, and Sebastian was okay with it."
"With us it's different." John commented. "The both of us aren't in any hurry to procreate."
"That's because you guys and kids have never seen eye to eye before." Roger added. "It's a miracle that Jessie's kids seem fine with you two."
"That's because they grew up with them." Jacob told Roger.
"Enough about me." John spoke. "Let's return to our brother and his fiance's dilemma."
Sarah stared at Jason. "We can try talking to him for you." She offered. "And see if we can get him to back down for now."
"Good luck with that." Jason said forlornly.
"Don't worry. I got this." Ashley chirped as she took her cellphone out.
"What are you doing?" Jacob asked her.
"What do you think I'm doing?" Ashley asked back.
"Oh no. Don't tell us you're." The sound of a phone ringing emanated from the room.
