•Chapter 8•

My shift was over and was time to close up the store.

I took out my phone and checked the time as I climbed in my car.

8:30 pm

I groaned as I realized it was late. I haven't even eaten dinner yet.

I guess chinese sounds good ...

As I walked I'm my apartment my phone started to ring.

"Hello ?"

"Hey giiiirrrrllll !" Bri said happily on the other end.

"Hey ! What's up ?"

"Nothing much. Just watching tv with Ash."

Crap I forgot they were going out.

"Oh how's that going ?" I asked stuffing my mouth with noodles.

"It's okay it's just ASHTON KEEPS HOGGING ALL THE POPCORN !" She yelled as I heard a slap and Ashton yelling OW !

"Oh that's nice. At least you aren't single and lonely." I said.

"Aww don't worry boo you will find someone! Your pretty , smart , and you cook amazing food !"

"Wow thanks !" I said as we both laughed.

It was nice that Bri still talked to me regularly even when she was with Ashton.

We talked for about another hour until we were tired and wanted to sleep.

I tiredly climbed into bed and fell asleep almost instantly.

I walked up to my locker and checked to see if my makeup was okay.

It was Monday, the most horrible days of the week and just another day at school. Thank god this is my last year of High School !

"Hey !" Said a voice behind me as I looked through my locker mirror to see Calum making a weird face behind me.

"What are you doing ?!" I giggled as I turned around.

"Just trying to lighten up the mood since it's fucking Monday." He said while rubbing his eyes.

"Hey pals !" Ashton said while walking up to us.

"Hey !" Said me and Calum at the same time.

"Where's Bri ?" I asked looking around the crowded hallway.

"Bathroom." he said pointing to the girls room.

I walked in and saw Bri standing there fixing her makeup and hair.

"Heyy Bri !" I said giving her a hug.

"Hey boo ! So guess what ?!" She said while fixing her hair.

"What ?" I asked.

"You know that guy Luke Hemmings that's so fucking cute ?! Besides Ashton." She said giggling a little.

My heart sank a little when I heard his name but I continued to smile and look happy.

"Yeah. What about him ?"

"Well I was walking up to the school and he was smoking out front. Ew. And he was like 'Hey your Stella's friend right ?' And I was like 'Yeah why ?' And he told me to tell you to meet him in the parking lot at his car after school. Are you guys seeing each other ?!" She said while smirking at me.

"WHAT ?! Hell no ! And did he say why he wanted to see me ?!" I said feeling my stomach starting to turn.

"He said he wanted to ask you something VERY important."

Oh god what does he want now ? To give me another fucking hickey ?!
I thought as I tried not to freak out in front of Bri.

"Okay. Well bye !" I said and quickly walked out of the door to my first class.

I never thought I'd say this but please let this class last FOREVER !
