Joshua's Pov

Everything is back to normal now. Grandma is happy, and Dad is happy. What else could I ask for? It took time to make this decision but I am certain about it. It's going to be hard, but I will get the hang of it.

I wish Mom was here. I miss her a lot, and I will never forget her. She was the most beautiful woman on the planet, back in the day. I chuckle as the memories flood in.

She was an angel on earth, but she had no wings. She was my number one and will always be my number one.

She was tall, 5"11, to be exact. She had beautiful dark skin; her skin was so soft, and her eyes radiated beauty and hope. Her smile brought the broken heart back to life. Her voice was so angelic that it could enchant the snake to come out of its hole. Don't worry. it's a proverb that's used to describe how beautiful a female's voice is.

She had healthy black hair and a beautiful, petite body. She ate healthy diets and rarely was sick, but she unfortunately died. I cut my thoughts short. The wounds were still flesh each time, I remembered the unfortunate night.

“Sir, what do you think is the best action to take?. Sir!?”

“yes!” I wasn't sure why I answered yes.

“I was enquiring about the best action we should take.” I am distracted once again.

We have made huge losses recently. Our tenants are vacating more than often especially the Juba estate. The reason is still unknown.

"Did the assigned team investigate the situation?” If we know the problem then we could do something.

“Well sir,” He starts. His starting to annoy me now.

"Well, what!? I strictly instructed you to send the marketing and research and development teams. To investigate the situation and inform me as soon as possible.”

"I informed them but they were held up by the new projects that are..."

"Did you just make an excuse!? I asked for the information two months ago!, and no one thought they should investigate. What am I paying you all for?" If they don't want the job they might as well pack all their stuff and check out with HR.

Things are very bad. The losses are increasing and if they are not fixed, the company may end up bankrupt.

“In fact, I want the respective departments to see HR now. I won't tolerate any incompetence, from the employees that I never failed to pay.”

I stood up and left my assistant, who was trying to catch up. He was defending the two departments.

Two fucking months. What were they doing all that time? They thought they could dismiss my instructions; guess what? I play better than they do.

“I don't want to see any of them; this is their last day. Tell them to clear and leave. I will have to visit the site myself. There is a saying that goes, If you want something done, do it yourself, and that's exactly what I will do. The departments should forget they worked for the Bright-Joy group of companies.

I keep spacing out. My concentration span is short, and I need a calm environment to decide on the best action to take.

I made my way to the parking lot. I searched my pocket, took my keys out, and opened my car door. I will visit the estate tomorrow and find the root cause of the problem.
