The day I met you,
I was intrigued.
The day I left you,
I was ruined,
But when I was with you
My love,
I was truly living
And not just existing.
We were never together ,
But it sure didn't feel like it.
It wasn't forever,
But it sure felt like one.
Sometimes I still wish,
I hadn't left you the way I did
Wish we had a closure moment
For me to seal.
It sure hurt like hell
But it was for the best.
Maybe if you were in love with me
And not her
We'd still be together
Maybe you finally would've
Looked at me
The way you look at her.
Maybe in another life,
Another world,
Another universe,
You'll fall in love with me and
Not her.
Till then You'll be
The star of my night,
The moon so bright,
Up in the galaxy,
Looking down at (I wish) me.
