WONWOO's POV

While on summer break, I take on some jobs and save for the next school year. I just want to help mom with some expenses. She discourages me about it and said I should just focus on doing some advance reading to help with my classes. So what I did, I took on tutoring jobs so I can reason with her that I learn while also earning money.

I posted an ad online about looking for more tutoring gigs since I have some more vacant time. Especially if younger pupils would need help since I already know their lessons.

Not long after I posted my ad, I received some message requests for inquiries but one message caught my attention in particular.

Kim Mingyu: Hi, I would like to inquire about your service.

We are literally classmates and he is like one of the most intelligent students in class so why would he be interested? Either way, this is business so I shouldn't think too much and just go with the flow as long as I get paid, that is the goal for now.

Jeon Wonwoo: Hi I do tutoring sessions including all subjects from 1st grade-12th grade. My current availabilities are Monday and Wednesday 2pm- 5pm, and Tuesday 9am- 12nn. Rate is 30 dollars an hour.

I usually take weekends off to have some bonding time with mom and Thursdays and Fridays I spend studying for my own readings.

Kim Mingyu: I am looking for a tutor for my younger brother, I would do it myself actually but I am busy with other activities so I can't

Jeon Wonwoo: No worries at all, when would you like to start and which slot would you like to take?

Kim Mingyu: I want the whole Monday afternoon block.

Jeon Wonwoo: hmmmm... Does your brother have the patience to sit that long? It would be a waste of money for you if halfway within the session his focus is already wandering somewhere else.

Kim Mingyu: Do you have better suggestions? he can only do it every afternoon.

Jeon Wonwoo: how about a Monday and a Wednesday, 1.5 hours each, 2 pm- 3:30pm

Kim Mingyu: Sounds perfect

Jeon Wonwoo: All Good here is my number 04******** please send the location, you can also use that number as my pay ID, 50 percent deposit is required before the start of the session. see you.

Kim Mingyu: Will do, see yah!

So he had a younger brother after all, All I heard about was his older brother who now works overseas.

I wonder how they look like, are they all tall and athletic like Mingyu? Gosh why am I getting all giddy just by the thought that he messaged me. We never talk at school, I am the quiet nerdy boy while he was the popular one, loved by many, adored by many. We would always meet each other's eyes but we would both look away immediately. Every time our eyes meet, my heart would race, i mean who wouldn't, those beautiful dark brown orbs, his perfectly tan skin, the mole on his nose and aside from the fact that he is physically gorgeous, his intellect, his athleticism just all adds up to his appeal. Who wouldn't get attracted to a man like that? he is too good to be true. But even when all that is true, I know my place, he is up there and this is just me, he is a dream I will never achieve and so I am contented to just keep looking at him from afar.

MINGYU POV

I am the middle child in the family, and as you might know, the least favourite. Perhaps, that is what I feel. My eldest brother Taehyung is carefree and did everything he wanted in life. He wanted to be a fashion designer and so father sent him to best fashion school in London. Despite his feminine appearance, he is quite the womanizer so the information my mother told me the other day still won't sink in. Well at least, we wouldn't probably be dealing with the problem him getting knocked up or him getting someone pregnant. A win-win I guess.
