17th Chapter

WONWOO's POV

I was about to drop the kids to Mingyu's office, as promised, I told him that if the kids agree then I will let him meet them.

The vote was 2-1. Kwan and Chan loved the idea but San was tremendously opposed to it.

But San had always been accommodating of his brother's wants. He may have been very vocal about what he disliked, but he always prioritised his brother's happiness.

"Okay, you three listen to mama" the three came closer to me with their individual backpacks. They are all ready to go.

"You behave yourselves there okay, daddy is working." Kwan and Chan nodded enthusiastically while San is just pouting, I still don't know how he discovered or figured things out. I was honestly amazed but other than that, his grave display of displease towards the whole situation is funny, for me perhaps.

My children are growing really fast that you can already tell how different they are going to be when they become adults. It was a bittersweet thing to imagine for a parent that someday, my children will have their own lives, spread their wings and fly to a world that they will build for themselves.

I am confident though that no matter how different they will be, they will be good members of the society. I raised them to be good humans, so they maybe different, but all of them will be good.

"Mama! I am excited to see daddy" Kwan said, his smile, so bright and big washed my doubts away. As a mother, my children's happiness will be my top priority.

I didn't tell the kids about my past with their father. They don't deserve live with hate. I know that San mentioned once that he saw my diary, perhaps that is where he knew that the name of their father is Mingyu? Should I ask San? I would rather not, I am not ready to answer all his questions and to be honest I don't want him hate his father any more than he already does. Not that I want to protect Mingyu, but I want to protect San. I want him to have peace and happiness.

After all, I am still thankful to Mingyu for giving me these angels. Now, it's my life's mission to give them the life they deserve.

"Woaaaah! Mama this place is big!" you can clearly see the excitement on Chan's face. Now I got nervous whether he would choose to live with Mingyu if he asked him.

"You want to live with daddy now Chan? You are not going back home anymore?" I saw how his face drastically changed from excitement to horror.

"No mama! No! I am going home now!" his reaction actually gave me a sense of relief.

"Mama is just joking baby, I will never ever let anyone take any of you away from me" I gave a kiss on his cheek!

"Mama unfair! me too, I want a kiss" I then kissed Kwan and he giggled. I know San will never admit but I know he wanted it too so I kissed him as well and it's funny how surprised he looked.

"Mama loves you all equally okay? Always remember that" I said earning a smile from all of them.

Now, it's time to talk to the reception to have access to where Mingyu is. I wonder how the kids will react when they know Uncle Min is their dad.

"Hi" I greeted the lady at the reception.

"Hi, May I know if you have an appointment?" she asked as she browsed on her desktop.

"Yes, I have an appointment with Mr. Kim Mingyu" which made her check the list of appointments

"One moment please" I smiled at her as an affirmation.
