It's only twelve, people should show restraint when they're at a bar in Y/N's opinion.
But apparently that didn't include Himeno.
"I'm never drinking again!" Himeno tiredly gagged, puking more than one would humanly think is possible. Kobeni was trying to comfort her stomach by rubbing her back but it wasn't working.
Y/N almost laughed as Himeno harshly cried, snorting which in turn caused Himeno to turn around and incoherently chastise her.
Before throwing up in the toilet bowl again.
"I recall you saying something similar when we were in Malaysia." Y/N quietly replied with a chuckle, leaning against the wall of the bathroom as she scratched her arm.
She was probably too aggressive with the scratching since it seemed to be scaring Kobeni.
Especially when she noticed it. Why did her skin look like that?
Safe to say, Y/N had cleaned her shirt but it still smelt like puke and it made her want to gag. She would make Himeno pay for it later.
"H-hey L/N.. You don't have to stay, It's okay. I can take care of Himeno-"
"I don't mind... Do you want me to go?" Y/N slurred, sounding drunk again even though she basically drowned her face in water after she had tripped and fell on her way in here.
"Well... Y-yeah, but not in a mean way. I-It's just that, I want to talk to her alone... Is that okay?"
"Sure, will you be able to talk to her in this state though?" Y/N questioned, shrugging off the strange feeling she was getting as she pointed at Himeno. "She's drunker than drunk."
"I know that," Kobeni chuckled, moving Himeno away from the toilet after a while. "she's just... Well, she's kind of like my teacher y'know? And well, what I wanna talk about... It'd kind of personal."
"Ah, okay." Y/N nodded, slowly walking off just to make sure she didn't possibly trip and fall again. As soon as she walked out of the bathroom though, she was lost.
Like, really lost.
She guesses she'll have fun trying to find the table where everyone else was.
As for Kobeni and Himeno, It was quiet for a while in the bathroom as Kobeni recollected her thoughts. But before she could say anything, Himeno suddenly stood up and twirled around with a playful smile.
"See?"
"... S-see what?" Kobeni asked, not knowing what else to say. It was honestly a miracle that Himeno didn't fall face first and give herself a concussion.
"I'm all better now, so! Let's get some more drinks!" Himeno quickly replied as she turned to walk out of the bathroom before walking into a wall.
"Oh no you don't, I still need to talk to you." Kobeni retorted, grabbing Himeno's shoulder before she really ended up tripping over herself.
"About what Kobeni?" Himeno slurred, stuttering on the 'I' in her name.
"About me..." Kobeni sighed. "Y'know I'm quitting right? This get together won't change that."
"Aw! But I wanted you to come to this party so you could feel better and choose to stay!" Himeno whined, feeling like she failed. "Please stay Kobeni! I feel bad!"
Kobeni groaned, holding her up as she lost herself in thought. It's not like these people weren't nice but she's not sure she could handle another moment where she might die fighting a devil.
Then again, she didn't want to a sex worker either.
She was placed in an uncomfortable situation, she didn't want any of this, she'd much rather be working a small job for herself. She didn't want to be stuck paying for her brother's education for the rest of her life.
