"Can't you see that I'm the one. Who understands you? Been here all along. So why can't you see? You belong with me"

(The day before the last task)

I was sitting in the corner with Blaise as usual when Professor Flickwick walked in. I groaned knowing the class would be long and boring. I wasn't particularly interested in charms but a certain girl loves charms. Her eyes light up every time she succeeds in casting a new spell.

Yes, I've been staring at her from afar. Ever since the first year, I have been watching her closely, at this point, I probably know her better than Hermione and Luna.

I rest my chin on my palm. I stare across the room finding Belle's writing notes in a hurry.

Such a hard worker, beauty. She's so cute when she's focused. I smirk in amusement.

I was brought out of my thoughts when Blaise snickers beside me.

He leans in, to whisper into my ear "If you want her just ask her out."

I shake my head glaring at him "She doesn't like me!" I whispered

Blaise smirks and shrugs "You never know"

I roll my eyes returning to write my notes. But once in a while, I glance over to watch her. When the dreadful lesson finally came to an end, I caught Belle running out of the classroom in a rush. I also packed up my books as quickly as I could and rushed out to follow her.

I chase her down the hallways but make sure to keep a distance. I followed her to the courtyard, where Diggory stood. I hid behind a wall staying out of sight, but close enough to eavesdrop.

I watch the Hufflepuff pass her his scarf. I scoff remembering my scarf was still with her. I never went to take it back, I wanted her to have it, I wasn't lying when I said she looked better in my scarf than I did.

My heart drops seeing her receive the scarf with a bright smile on her face.

Of course, she still likes him. That's why I helped her after all.

As she turns to leave, I run away in a panic. I couldn't let her find out I was following her. I only followed her because I was worried about seeing her in such a rush to run out of her favorite class.

(The next day)

Everyone was gathered to watch the final Triwizard tournament task. I sat at the very back of the stands with Blaise. Just then, the Ravenclaw girl and her friends also arrive, I look away pretending to look at something else, when their group sits a few rows in front of us.

I notice Diggory and Belle exchanging glances across the field before he heads off into the maze. I look away trying to ignore the jealous emotions building up inside me.
