Y/n is looking at a holographic version of the schematics of the mark 2 armor comparing it to the mark 1. I was less bulky and heavy. Also seemed more easy to fly. In the basement of the PPG home Y/n is in a strange set of metal rocket boots holding an activation switch. Jarvis was recording a video and Friday was ready with a fire extinguisher.

Y/n: "Ok lets do this, Friday you're on fire safety, Jarvis hit record."

Friday+Jarvis: "Yes sir/Got it boss."

Y/n waves to the camera.

Y/n: "We rollin? yea? good, ok activate flight controls."

He hits the switch and gets ready

Y/n: "Gonna start off easy with only 10% see if that will achieve lift off in 3......2......1....."

Jarvis: "Sir are you alright?"

Timeskip to later

Y/n is now back at his holotable with an ice pack on his head looking at the schematics again, mentally screaming at himself that he didn't see the arms first. He goes to a table with his arm covered by a metal sleeve with a glowing circular thruster at the palm. He tightens a few screws with a screwdriver, but he doesn't see Mrs. Bellum come down the stairs with two cups of coffe and a bag from the coffee shop.

Mrs.Bellum: "I rang the doorbell twice hun, why didn't you answer?"

Y/n lifts his arm up looking at the sleeve.

Y/n: "Sorry, been busy with......things."

Mrs. Bellum: "Is that a gun?"

Y/n: "No, it's a flight stableizer it's harmless."

Friday: "Actually boss it's also a high functioning repulser cannon."

Y/n: "wait wha-"

The palm thruster suddenly fires a beam of energy causing Mrs. Bellum to drop her coffee and bag. Y/n put a hand on the table and hoisted himself up.

Y/n: "FRIDAY!"

Friday: "I suppose that information should have been said beforehand hehe......"

Y/n helped Mrs. Bellum on her feet.

Y/n: "Mrs. Bellum I'm so sorry."

Mrs. Bellum: "Don't worry about it hun, just remind me not to bring you caffee when you're making things."

Y/n: "Yes Ma'am."

The two stared at each other for a minute before realizing they were very close and quickly separated.

Mrs. Bellum: "Well, I should be getting back to the mayor."

Y/n: "Y-Yea, I got work to do."

Mrs. Bellum leaves the lab leaving Y/n and his two Ai's to continue their work.

Friday: "You could ask her out you know~"

Y/n: "Quiet you...."
