Enjoy!
Percy
His body ached, like he'd been dragged on some bumpy surface for hours. It was nice, lying down and sleeping, thinking about nothing, and worrying about nothing.
Then, a girl shouted at a distance. "He killed one of us! He is a danger to all of us!"
With his eyes closed, Percy managed to distinguish another voice. A male's voice, full of authority.
"Have you forgotten our instructions? Do you know who sent us all these luxurious food to enjoy? We have a deal: Inject him, and make him our ally. In return, the gamemakers will send us anything we ask for."
Percy opened his eyes slowly, blinking as sunlight shone down on him. He looked at his surroundings. He was in a large plain, with a golden, metallic horn in the centre. There was a large forest beyond the horn, and a lake on the other side. In this unknown environment, Percy felt at ease because of the wide lake. He was the son of Poseidon after all. As long as there was a lake, he was safe.
"He's awake!" A small built girl said, coming over to his side.
As she walked to him, Percy could see that the inside of her jacket was lined with sharp knives.
She offered her hand. "Hi Percy! My name is Clove. I'm from district two."
Percy smiled and shook her hand. "I don't remember which district I'm from."
"Oh! You are from district five. And you got hit on your head pretty bad the last time. Do you remember anything? Do you know who and where we are?" Clove asked.
That was when Percy started panicking. Where was he? Who are these people? In fact, everything he tried to recall was blank. It was like reaching dead ends in his memory. There was only one thing he knew. He was Percy Jackson, a demigod son of Poseidon. He remembered little bits and pieces like battle skills and sword fighting. He knew Riptide was his expandable sword, and that he always kept it in his pocket. But everything else...no. It was scary, like an entire section of his life had been taken away.
"I can't remember anything other than myself and a few things I do." Percy said.
The other two boys and two girls, including clove herself, were beside him.
"They are your friends. We looked after you when you blacked out because of your head injury. In the past, we always went everywhere together, and helped each other." Clove said reassuringly.
The other bulky looking boy stepped forward and introduced himself. "I'm Cato from district two, that's Marvel from district one, and the girl there is Sheryl from four."
Percy nodded, trying to remember their names. Had he indeed forgotten everything he'd done with them? His closest friends, as they say.
"What are we doing here?" Percy asked, looking at the plains which stretched far and wide.
"We are just seeking refuge here. Later, we are going to get back revenge for you. The two district seven tributes caused you to lose your memories." Cato said with a frown, looking closely at Percy.
"Who are the district seven tributes?" Percy asked, biting his tongue, trying to keep down his anger which was slowly boiling inside him.
Because of those district seven tributes, he had forgotten everything. All the good times with his friends were wiped out clean off his memories. Friends who are so willing to get revenge for him on his behalf.
"Thalia Grace and Nico di Angelo. We will get them back for you." Cato said in a determined tone.
Percy shook his head. "Thanks for the offer, but I'd prefer if I get them myself. After all, I'm the one whom they did that to. I can't let you get hurt like how they did to me. I want them dead, and I want to do it."
