The next day was full of revelations for Kabir. Amayra showed him around the entire city and took him to all her favorite places. They ate at a small roadside café, wandered along the beach without any particular reason, and roamed around like local tourists. Kabir realized that he genuinely enjoyed the experience. He also noticed that Amayra was someone who knew how to keep herself happy with small things. She didn’t need big parties, events, or expensive gifts to be happy. He also began to understand why Amayra hadn’t told him about her favorite restaurant. It wasn’t because she avoided it due to her past, but because she thought it was too small compared to Kabir’s standards. This realization made him feel quite embarrassed.

Amayra told him everything about her life before he came into it. And as for Kabir, Amayra already knew everything about him, which Kabir wasn’t aware of. They spent the whole day visiting the places Amayra had mentioned, and she told him everything about herself. Kabir started feeling that he was falling even more in love with her, more and more and more.

At the end of the day, Amayra took him to her orphanage, where she introduced Kabir to all the orphaned children. The children were very excited to meet a stranger, but in reality, Kabir was not a stranger to them. He was the husband of their favorite teacher, not a stranger. Kabir realized that Amayra was very popular among those children, as they were trying to learn more about their teacher’s husband. This clearly meant that the children loved Amayra a lot, and knowing this made Kabir even more impressed with her.

Maybe she works here without any salary, but what she gains in return is priceless compared to money. The children had nothing to give except love, boundless love, which was evident in the way they talked to Amayra. So, why shouldn't I love her?

Kabir looked at her lovingly and smiled.

Amayra took him to meet the founder of the orphanage, but just then, a child came to see her, and she stepped out of the founder's office to talk to the child. When she returned, she discovered something she had never expected.

"What happened to you?" Kabir asked while driving. They had just left the orphanage.

"Nothing."

"Something's up. You were so happy at the orphanage. What happened all of a sudden?" Kabir asked.

"I was just thinking."

"About what?"

"Earlier, I barely received any salary from Mr. Banerjee (the orphanage founder). But for the past few months, the orphanage has been receiving continuous funds, allowing him to pay salaries to all the staff. I kept wondering who this generous person was who started donating every month, having never done so before. What do you think about this?" Amayra looked at Kabir intently.

"Uh... I... you... so you overheard what we were talking about there." Kabir said directly. He didn’t want to beat around the bush.

"Yes. Why did you do that? Why did you feel the need to do it?" Amayra asked angrily. "Because I told you that my orphanage was short on funds, so you decided to donate to the orphanage so that I would indirectly receive your money." She was furious.

"Look, Amayra. I donated because I wanted to help Mr. Banerjee."

"You're lying. You helped because I refused to take your money."

"Okay. I admit that I helped them because of you, but not so that you would get my money indirectly. When you told me there was a financial issue there, I thought of helping. I had told you about our CSR branch, didn't I? They help small, needy institutions like this. I found out about the orphanage from you, but if I had told you about this, you would have thought differently. So, I talked to our CSR unit and asked them to include the orphanage in their panel list, the list of institutions that receive monthly donations. That's all. I'm not paying out of my pocket. Besides, I had already convinced you to use the money if needed. So, don't think I did this with any special motive. It's also good for the company because it saves on taxes," Kabir explained.

"Are you telling the truth?"

"Absolutely."

"Why should I believe you?" Amayra asked, raising one eyebrow.

"Because I'm your husband. And like a good wife, you should trust me," Kabir said, winking.

"I... uh... what... why did you wink?"

"Just like that... and if your interrogation is over, I'd like to take you somewhere else. Can I?" Kabir asked politely.

"Where?"

"You'll find out when we get there," Kabir said, turning the car in a different direction.

Kabir stopped the car in front of a cemetery, and Amayra couldn't understand why he had brought her there. Kabir got out of the car and, taking her hand, helped her out as well. Still holding her hand, he led her to Mahima's grave. They were both completely silent.

"Hi Mahima. Look who's here to meet you today. Amayra. My best friend. My wife," Kabir said, looking at Amayra with the last words, and Amayra bravely smiled back.

She couldn't figure out how to behave in this situation. She never expected that one day Kabir would bring her here. Mahima was an important part of Kabir's life and still is, and Amayra knew that Kabir had never brought anyone here before. Whenever Kabir was sad, he would come here because he didn't like to share his feelings with anyone. Now that she was here, she didn't know whether to be happy that Kabir considered her an important part of his life and brought her here to share his feelings or not.

"Hello Mahima. I’m a big fan of yours," Amayra said almost in a whisper, not wanting to disturb the peace. After all, the sun had set, and she was standing in a cemetery. Kabir smiled at her words.

"See, didn't I tell you she's a magician? She always knows what to say, when, and where," Kabir said, looking at his first love.

"Both of you must be wondering why I brought Amayra here. Because you both are the most important parts of my life, and I wanted you to meet. I know you met before, but I didn’t know at the time. I just wanted you to meet and know that you both are equal to me. Mahima, you taught me how to love, and Amayra, you taught me how to live again. So today, I want to thank you both for being a part of my life." Kabir looked first at Mahima’s grave and then at Amayra.

"Don’t you have something to say to her?" Kabir asked Amayra.

"Yes, I do. I know you both love each other very much. I want to tell you both that I will never come between your love. No one loves like this. I am happy to witness your love. And I hope you both continue to love each other like this always. I will never try to take your place, Mahima," Amayra said, looking at Mahima's grave and Kabir, but making the promise to herself.
