[10:00 AM, March, Fukuoka, Kyushu]

The air crackled around [Y/N] as he emerged from out a small black sphere, a tear in space-time. He had gotten quite used to teleporting around the country, backwards and forth on jobs that required his individual attention. All For One had Kurogiri, and Kyudai had that strange Nomu he kept around like a weird pet, Johnny was its name. Naming the Nomus felt wrong. They were tools after all, not people.

Not anymore at least.

Regardless, moving about Japan quickly and quietly was a well sought after ability, especially instant teleportation. He was fortunate that his Quirk was so versatile, even if it took him a large amount of energy to perform...

[Y/N] had always imagined the possibility of instantly teleporting about in rapid succession, one after the other, again and again, with no drawbacks.

It was certainly not implausible, but as he was right now, an ability that strong still seemed a long distance away, beyond his grasp.

That didn't mean he would concede, obstacles were more so suggestions in his mind.

[Y/N] was enamoured with pushing his powers to their absolute limit, and then past that limit too. Thinking up strategies, new and interesting ways to use his powers. The possibilities seemed endless.

And yet, for now, he had more pertinent matters to deal with.

Even while he was supposed to be on infiltration that didn't mean the Phantom Stranger could simply disappear, that would only stoke suspicions. A previously unknown teen with immense power appears around the same time as this new Villain's real public debut?

Those were two facts that some people were sure to pounce upon. He couldn't be stupid, or act rash with his dual lives. He was a wanted man, and his enemies wouldn't stop hunting him.

He pushed down on the crown of his wide-brimmed hat, concealing his eyes. His long coat swayed with each step, but there wasn't any real reason to worry about his identity being compromised, not here at least. This job was quite different compared to his normal work, not as official, more casual.

This time he was meeting with friends, real friends, not business associates or temporary allies. It wasn't common in their world of villainy, constantly consumed with underworld back-room deals and betrayals.

Survival of the fittest and psychopaths vying for supremacy made trust a fickle thing.

[Y/N] didn't consider himself close to many people, but surprisingly, there did exist a few.

He marched down a cramped alleyway, damp and decrepit. Homeless people watched him anxiously, but they knew better than to ask him for spare coins. Broken street lamps flickered, glass shards scattered all over the pavement. The backfire of car engines roared somewhere in the distance. Even in Japan's largest, most well-protected cities, there remained crime...

Rats scurried across the open gutters, while brown, murky water dripped from broken pipes from up high, flooding the dirty cement with thick puddles. Fukuoka was certainly a city of contradictions. Enormous skyscrapers and dazzling towers reached up towards the heavens, the tallest among them Fukuoka Tower, the city's central landmark. It was densely-populated, rich and with heavily funded police. The number three Hero, Hawks, even served as their local guardian.

It all appeared nice on the surface, but lurking underneath was a similar tale seen across all of Japan.

Poverty, crime, theft, vandalism, infrequent murders. Pro-Heroes merely hid the extent of the turmoil, but not all of it could be so easily concealed.
