[12:50 PM, U.A. High School, Musutafu]

"Now for today's basic Hero training..." Aizawa spoke with his usual slow tone. The capture scarf that he always wore was loosely wound around his neck. It concealed his mouth, muffling most of his words, making listening a real challenge, nevertheless, his class seemed to understand enough.

They watched him with bright eyes, ready for whatever their next form of assessment would be. No one seemed too bothered by the fact that their school came under attack only a few days prior, an invasion by the press, who managed to somehow slip past the front gate. Even the most secure defensive systems in the entire country couldn't protect them against whoever it was lurking out there in the shadows, biding their time...

However, It was a false alarm, and everyone was told to not worry, that there was nothing wrong.

That was the school administration's story anyway, the truth of the situation was far more uncertain. Nezu didn't want to spread fear, and scaring children, especially the large influx of first-years, helped no-one. They were only just settling into their new lives as Heroes in training.

Exposing them to the darker sides of their world already would only destroy their ambition.

Even still, it was unsettling to know that someone was watching them, awaiting the opportunity to strike, with the sort of strength that could completely disintegrate reinforced metal plate.

And yet, the greatest Hero school in Japan wouldn't surrender to fear. They were creating the next generation of Heroes, society's protectors and guardians. They needed to inspire hope. Frightening the students on their first week would only hinder their academic progress, and stole away their attention from studies and socialising.

It was best to let it all disappear from memory, fading away back to the inner recesses of the mind. The faculty could solve the issue in conjunction with the authorities in the background, leaving their students unaffected. They would get to the bottom of it all eventually...

"This time, All Might, myself and one other will supervise..." Aizawa explained. It was unusual, considering they had been taught by either one of the two, up until that point, but never both, and a third teacher would be joining them too? It had to be a special class.

"Um, what are we doing exactly?!" Sero's arm shot up high, and he waggled it about in the air, eager to get the teacher's notice. A few other students were thinking the same thing, murmuring amongst themselves quietly...

"Preparing you for disaster relief, from fires to floods. It's rescue training!" Aizawa tried to talk with some uncharacteristic enthusiasm, but it fell completely flat when coming out of his mouth. He had no energy behind his words, it was impossible.

"Rescue, huh?" Kaminari started sweating. "Sounds like another rough day..." Ashido grinned back at him, and she pumped up her fists with excitement. "Right?!" Clearly they saw it from different perspectives. "Come on, this is what being a Hero's all about! I'm pumped!" Kirishima leaned over his desk, sharing Mina's enthusiasm. "I'll be right at home in a flood. Ribbit." Asui mumbled, a small tick creeping into her speech.

"Hey, I'm not done yet." Aizawa glared back at them, and they shut up immediate, not keen to incur the teacher's wrath. "It's up to each of you whether or not you wear your costumes. As some of them are ill-suited to this sort of activity." He clicked down on a small remote and the glass containers holding their suits slid out from out the wall, just as they had the other day.

"The training site is a bit remote, so we'll be going by bus..."

Aizawa fixed his class with a stern look. "That's all. Get ready."
