[7:00 AM, April, Musutafu]

An alarm thundered against [Y/N]'s bed, the irritating melody reverberating around the room, harsh dissonant sounds clunking against one another, a perfect tune to wake up even the heaviest of sleepers.

He was not amused, awaking with frustrated expression.

His sleep was one of the few places where he didn't have to concern himself with the problems that plagued them in the real world, a brief reprieve.

However, all fantasies had to come to an end at some point, his were no different...

[Y/N] had never lived a normal life. Albeit, normal was a loaded term. He had never lived the stereotypical life of a Japanese student.

He had only spent a few years around his actual parents, but that brief exposure could barely be considered a warm, loving family. That was another problem altogether, one wholly unrelated to his current given assignment, and one that he preferred remained hidden in the past...

[Y/N] never went to school, never studied in a classroom filled with his peers. He didn't make friends with those around him, play sports or stupid games at lunch time. His lessons were learned on the streets, and the dark back-alleys of Sapporo. Violence and survival were his guiding tutors. It was in that hellish city where he came to understand the truth's of their world...

That was to say, when All For One gave him his mission of infiltrating U.A. as an atypical student hellbent on becoming an up-and-coming Hero, it wasn't so simple as just reassuming his place within society.

It was relearning entirely new patterns of behaviours.

He was now living in one place, instead of constantly moving about every few days like some wandering loner, or a marauding vagabond, within an unremarkable home within Musutafu's suburbs. [Y/N] wouldn't have described it as lavish by any stretch of the imagination, but he wouldn't have wanted a mansion either. He cared little for vain pleasures and extreme earthly desires. If it had four walls and a roof he could get along just fine. It could always be worse, the grey housing complexes built atop one another provided little privacy, and didn't inspire much motivation, so many people all crammed together...

His small home was modest, but it served its purpose well enough.

[Y/N] went through the morning routine, a shower, brushing his teeth, grabbing a small bite to eat, getting dressed, making sure he had prepared everything for school.

The news played in the background, something about a new Pro-Hero's debut, or something along those lines. He didn't really pay much attention, rather, it was more just background noise to keep him company as he moved from task to task...

He hated the monotony of it all.

It all felt too peaceful, so far removed from his usual life.

Maybe it was an irrational feeling, but every morning he felt the same exact feeling.

He needed to suck it up for now. His personal preferences mattered little.

There was nothing too remarkable about U.A.'s uniform. It was a light-grey jacket, with dark grey trousers. A white shirt with a red tie. He was used to heavier attire, bulkier clothing that concealed his body shape, usually a darker colour that blended in against night's canvas.

He always felt naked without his hat, but that was a hurdle he needed to get over...

His phone buzzed on the kitchen counter, a small notification. He threw it an uninterested look.

It was nearly time to leave, for him to endure his very first day of school ever.

[Y/N] was already waiting for it to be over, and the day hadn't even started yet...
