Chapter 23

    That night came and went, now it was the next day after christening our new home. Edward received a call from Jasper. Our presents was requested at the clearing that we're using for the battle. I couldn't help but sigh as I knew what was about to happen.

   Sensing my energy shift, he looked at me with concern. " Rena, nothing is going to happen. She won't get her way, she should know by now not to try anything anymore." He said trying to reassure me.

  I kissed his cheek, "I appreciate you trying to ease my mind baby. But this is Bella, until everything is done and over with. My mind will never be at ease." I quickly threw on clothes. Not really in the mood to dress up or put some of my regular effort into my clothes for the day.

Outfit:

      Once we drive Edward's Volvo into the clearing. We spot, Jasper, Bella and one of the mutts. I hopped out of the car once we stopped. I was met with Edward at my side, having him by me reassured me. Our focus was pulled away from each other and onto the current situation that was in front of us.

    We stood next to Jasper to hear what they had to say. Bella didn't even glance at me, she looked between Jasper, Edward and Jacob. " I'm not just gonna hide while you all are taking the risks for me."

    Edward held my hand gripping it tighter, "Victoria is involved. You need to be kept far away from the fight as possible."

    "Jasper said that I could be of help." She replied trying to flutter her brown doe eyes at him.

    I sucked my teeth, " We won't need your help." Drawing her attention to me. "With the mutts in this, It's an easy win."

   "The rest of us aren't going to have enough to do. " Eddie tried convincing her. Seems like nothing me or him say is gonna change her mind.

    She was starting to get annoyed, " Ok, either it's so dangerous that I have to hide, or it's so easy that you're going to be sidelined which is it?"

    I stepped forward as a growl slipped out of my mouth, causing Jacob to stand in front of her to 'protect' her. " Listen bitch, as much as your warped mind likes to think otherwise. WE DON'T NEED YOU!!" I shouted. " We are all good and ready for this army, the wolves will cover our blind spots so we won't get sidelined." I cutely snapped back.
