A Thousand Years [ Edward Cullen Story]

Chapter 20

           Shortly after that night, it was like time decided to speed up the weeks. Because it was time for us to graduate from Forks High School. Hopefully for the last time for a while.  I couldn't help but get a little excited. My parents get to see me graduate for the first time. Actually makes me feel human a little bit. 

     Looking at the time, I was putting the finishing touches on my hair.  A light knock was heard on the door pulling my attention away. My eyes drift over to see who it was, "Time to head out Rena." Rosalie announced. 

   I stood up from my vanity and grabbed my hideous golden yellow cap and gown, " I'm right behind you." 

   "Come on Serena time to get going!" Emmett shouted with his usual goofy grin. 

     I couldn't help but roll my eyes, " I'm coming you overgrown child " I laughed 

  "It's not every day you get to graduate high school." Hearing that me and Rosalie just gave him a look. 

   Rose gently smacked his cheek, " Baby, all we do as vampires is go to high school and graduate. Hence the graduation cap art piece Esme did." She winked at me and pulled him away.   A chuckle slipped out as I quickly turned to look at my dress before heading out. 

Outfit: 

   "Lets get this over with." I walked downstairs and into the garage to meet up with the rest of my family. 

     Once Edward looked at me, it was like we were the only two people here.  He held out his hand for me to take. He gently presses a kiss onto my head, making me melt.  Everyone hopped into their cars and off we were to graduation. 

~a few minutes later~ 

      Dad, Esme, Rosalie & Emmett went inside to get seats as me, Eddie, Alice and Jasper left to go with the other graduates.  We stood to ourselves, but I couldn't help but feel someones eyes staring at me. 

    I started scanning the crowd to see no one other than Bella staring at me as Edward had his arm wrapped around me.  My eyes narrowed at her as I mouthed, " Fuck off and turn around."
