A Thousand Years [ Edward Cullen Story]

Chapter 5

   The next day the girls managed to convince me to come out of my room and attend school today. The guys were already in the schools parking lot laughing and smiling acting a fool. By guys we mean Emmett,  I'm sitting in the bed of my truck with Rose on one side and Alice on the other. Alice's chin lightly resting on my shoulder as we watched the guys and laughing occasionally. I didn't feel as blah and mopey like I did before. Thats the good thing about being with a family that cares and they try to help you out when you aren't at your best, it was nice. 

Selena's Outfit

      Edward walked out of the main building and walked over towards us it was like immediately I felt him give me a look of worry. I felt him trying to read my mind, but I blocked him out. Alice rubbed my arm and hopped off the bed of the truck and began to walked over Jasper.  Rose stood by my side and gave him a side glance. 

  I leaned against the bed of the truck where Alice was sitting and I felt Edward's presences on the side of me, "Serena, what's wrong? Your blocking me out." he whispered to me. 

   Turning my head slightly to the side to give him a sideways glance, "Nothing is wrong Edward I'm perfectly fine." 

He placed his chin on top of my head, "You have to tell me sooner or later. You can't keep blocking me out forever." He said trying to get me to take my walls down. But I wasn't budging.

"Forever is all I have." I muttered back. 

     I hear a screech of car wheels coming down the parking lot, Edward's eye meet Bella's and looked toward the van. In a second, he used his inhuman speed to go over towards the human and stopped the van from crushing her. A part me wanted that van to crush her and Bella would be out of her hair as well as ruining her love life. Me and the rest of my siblings, were in total shock of his actions. I was furious about everything, he was willing to blow our secret all because of a human!

    I got hopped into my truck and drove to the hospital before any of my siblings had the chance to do so. Pushing passed the doors, I stopped and asked the receptionist to pointed me into the direction of my father's office. Nodding in her direction and said my thanks to her. I turned and walked into the correct direction. All that was heard was the squeak of my sneakers being heard on the freshly clean hospital going down the corridor towards his office. 

"Daddy....we have a problem." I said addressing it right away. 

    Sitting in one of his chairs that was facing his desk, he gave me a worried look. "Serena what happened?" he asked me

I closed the door, "Edward that's what!! He used his speed to stop Tyler's van from crushing that damn human Bella. He wasn't thinking!!! He could of exposed us!" I tried to shout quietly.  

   My father pinched the bridge of his eyebrow and let out a sigh, "Serena just calm down, we will figure this all out when everyone is together." 

  My dad got up from his chair, "Well I'll be going to see Ms.Swan now Since she just got here and I was just paged." He kissed my head as he walked out the door. 

    I stood inside of his office just trying to clear my head. So I didn't snap, I was brought out of my thoughts to see Edward and Rosalie now in the threshold of dads office, "Serena, what did you tell Carlisle?" Edward said getting straight to the point. 

    I stood up and looked at him, "I told him what happened a few minutes ago Edward. What you did was not thought out correctly. Now knowing her she'll be even more curious and trying to figure out what you are." I said as calmly as I could while biting the inside of my cheek. 

   "What did you want me to do Serena let the van crush her and let me expose us! I had to stop the van, that was the only choice to make!" He shouted at me as we exited Carlisle's office.  

    My father seen us crowding his office door way, "Okay can we try not to argue?" he asks as I give him a look that spoke it's self. 

     I stood quiet, I wanted to speak with Edward soon as we got to the house, but for now Rosalie was going at him, "This isn't just about you, it's about all of us! Serena was right..."   

"Let's take this in my office." He said placing his hand on mine and Rosalie's shoulders.

"I'm going to head home." I kissed my father on the cheek and nodded at Rosalie. 

    Edward looked at me, "I'm not done with you. I'll speak to you when you get home." 

    Once I get into the car, I rested my head against the headrest. Just blankly staring at the roof of my car. I gasped as I felt another vision coming on. 

~Vision~

      Me and Edward were in my room arguing, "Why do you even care Serena! So what if I'm infatuated with Bella. You care why, because you're looking out for me?" he spat at me, you can clearly see anger in his golden eyes. 

    I shook my head, "Yes, I'm looking out for you because your future with her is going to cause you nothing but trouble. She's HUMAN!!!!! she shouldn't be involved within our world." If only I was able to produce tears, it will only fit the emotion that I'm feeling right now.....sadness and anger. 

    He let out a dark chuckle, " Your vision's aren't always true Serena! I'm choosing my own path and that is Bella. There is nothing that you can say that can change my mind." He said turning away from me starting to walk out. 

"Your destiny isn't with her Edward, my visions aren't like Alice's. Bella isn't your mate, she is only your blood singer nothing more!" I shouted at him. 

      It caused him to stop in his tracks, "Our destiny's are suppose to intertwine, not you and Bella. I had multiple visions of us getting married. Actually happy, no drama was ever started. No human to enter our lives and alter it." I walked over towards him and cupped his face. 

     I projected the multiple visions of us into his mind so he can see I wasn't lying to him. Edward opened his eyes and looked at me. I felt his forehead lean against mine, our noses touching. My hands moved from his face to the base of his neck. 

     He spoke low so only me and him could hear, "our destiny's are suppose to be intertwined....."  it finally got through to him. He took my face in between his hands and before I knew it our lips fit like puzzle pieces. This felt so right, I've waited so long to finally have this moment. I didn't have to hide my feelings anymore. 

We pulled away and looked at one another, and said.....
"I love you" 

~End~

   Snapping out of my vision, I didn't want it to end. The only question I had was when will that exact moment take place......I couldn't wait any longer.
