Chapter 12

~November~

            After that initial phone call with Alice and Jasper, me and Edward were inseparable. Honestly feeling the mate bond getting stronger the more time me and Edward spent together. I would be lying if I said the sexual tension between me and him wasn't thick you can cut it with a knife.  We have all this alone time before the rest of our family gets here in a few weeks time. 

     The sun was setting, and I was outside on the balcony. Just sitting on my patio couch, taking in the beauty that is Italy. Hearing slightly heavy footsteps coming from behind me, I knew it was Edward. Tilting my head back, I was looking at Edward upside down. I could instantly see the smirk on his face. 

    "I figured I would find you out here." He said as he pressed a kiss to my lips. 

I couldn't fight back the smile even if I wanted too, "Of course, I love watching the sunset it's the prettiest." I picked my head up and looked at him as he walked around the patio couch and sat next to me. 

   His arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer to him, " Edward..." I paused. Turning my head to look at him, "Don't take this the wrong way, I'm absolutely loving your company and believe me I am. But why now are you giving into the mate bond?" I asked him. "I've expressed how I truly felt towards you. Mate bond or not. But that human came in a ruined everything." 

  He was silent for a few minutes, assuming getting his thoughts together. " When you came to forks, I did feel the pull to you. Years before when it was just me, you, Carlisle and Esme. I was so wrapped into my own mind that I didn't acknowledge it at that time. Now, it was just something with Bella." He paused for a brief moment and tightened his hand in mine. 

   " Her blood did attract me so much that it definitely clouted my judgement. I felt like I had two separate voices in my head. One telling me to forget Bella and accept the bond with you. But the other voice was trying to convince me that Bella was the one for me. "  I don't need to have Jasper's ability to tell that he was 100 percent honest with what he was saying. 

   I slipped my hand out of his and placed both of them onto his face. Resting my forehead against his, " Don't beat yourself up, please don't."  He looked up at me with an unsure look. " Having a blood singer involved with anything makes things more complicated. They activate a dormant part of our brains that we never cold of thought existed." 

    I pressed a kiss onto his lips, " Everything that happened at her birthday party, was meant to happen. Because if it didn't we wouldn't be here right now, finally together and happy with who we were meant to be with." 

      Edward pulled me into his lap, holding me closer into him. The realization hitting him that, this right here. Is how everything in this world, our world is what was meant to be and this was who was suppose to be in it.  I quickly swung my left leg around him, straddling him. His arms went around my waist pulling me in closer to him.
