Ash's Pikachu and Ash's Oshawott

First conversation:

Pikachu: Hello, Oshawott, how's it going?

Oshawott: Oh, Pikachu! Hi! I'm fine!

Pikachu: That's good. It's nice to meet that someone had joined to the team by its own.

Oshawott: Are you talking about me?

Pikachu: Yeah, there are occasions where Ash got Pokémon because they wanted to travel with him. Either because they like him or because he saved their lives.

Oshawott: Oh...

Pikachu: Speaking of that, thank you so much for saving me and Axew from Team Rocket.

Oshawott: Oh, that was nothing. I just rescued you and that's all.

Pikachu: By the way, why were you following us?

Oshawott: Why was I following you?

Pikachu: Yeah. Since we met you in the Professor Juniper's lab, you started following us. Why did you do it?

Pikachu: Hey, Oshawott.

Oshawott: Tell me.

Pikachu: You still haven't answered me the question about why you were following Ash and me when you saw us for the first time.

Pikachu: Keep calm and tell me with confidence, we're teammates after all.

Pikachu: Why did you follow us then?

Oshawott: The thing is... before... nobody had chosen me as a Pokémon partner.

Oshawott: Nobody chose me, I just stayed in the lab with Juniper while I saw one companion go with a trainer. I was like that for days, weeks, even months.

Pikachu: Oshawott...

Oshawott: But everything changed when you two came, and told me I was cute. Nobody had told me that before. I was very happy for that compliment. I wanted to go with you two, but I was shy at first.

Pikachu: And then you escaped from the lab to follow us.

Oshawott: Exactly. And there is when I see you trying to save your Pokémon from Team Rocket.

Pikachu: Oshawott.

Oshawott: Yeah?

Pikachu: Don't feel bad, it's sad not having a partner to travel through the region, but at least this had a happy ending. Now you travel with Ash and company, that's the good thing.

Oshawott: Right. Thank you so much, Pikachu.

Pikachu: You're welcome, friend.

Third conversation:

Oshawott: *loud sigh*

Pikachu: Hello, Oshawott.

Oshawott: Hi...

Pikachu: Hmm? What's wrong? I see you very depressed today. I always see you happy or eating food. Why are you like this, Oshawott?

Oshawott: *another sigh* Y'know, I feel like this because I just realized something.

Pikachu: What is it?

Oshawott: It's sad knowing how I've been behaving during all this journey.

Pikachu: Why do you say so?

Oshawott: I've been behaving like a buffoon all this time. The only thing I made is being the joke of all, for my stupid things, for my clumsiness. Everyone laughs at me for my misfortunes.

Pikachu: Oshawott...

Oshawott: I'm useless in battle, most of the time I lost for not being strongly enough, or because I didn't pay attention to the opponent or my surroundings. I'm a shame. It seems that neither Ash nor anyone loves me now for my antics.

Pikachu: Oshawott, don't say that. We all love you here for how you are.

Oshawott: You say it only because you're my partner.

Pikachu: It's not that. Not just me, Ash, Pignite, Snivy, we all support you in everything. Even if you had lost many battles and your performance in battle is bad. It doesn't mean that we stop loving you.

Oshawott: Are you serious?

Pikachu: Yeah. You're a very loved member by all, not only by our companions in which we travel. There are people that consider you an adorable and funny Pokémon because they like what you do. Even you are a favorite Pokémon by several people because your proud but funny personality. It's not that everyone make fun of you for your misfortunes, you are the one who was exaggerating your funny reactions that seems they laugh at you. Besides, you helped us when everyone was poisoned that time, and we were grateful with you.

Oshawott: Oh...

Pikachu: Don't feel bad, cheer up because we still have a lot to travel and many experiences to live.

Oshawott: ...You're right. Thank you.

Pikachu: You're welcome, that's what partners are for.

Oshawott: I'm gonna give it all from now on!

Pikachu: I'm glad you're happy. Let's go?

Oshawott: Let's go.
