I'm Quinn Ryzen, a senior in high school. Not much can be said about me, so if you're looking for a new character to relate to, I'm too ordinary for that. Unless ordinary characters are your thing, more power to you! I live in Brookhaven and my dad's a cop. The only friend of Alice's I've ever been best friends with is Hades. Even though our personalities or characteristics don't align at all, it's still fun to have them as a friend. From an outsider's view, it probably seems like I'm my cousin's shadow, and sometimes I feel like that might be true. But it's okay, I rather blend in then stand out.

I hadn't heard from Alice or Hades all day-- I wasn't at school due to... Uh... Personal matters yesterday-- so, I decided I would go check on them. Usually a lot of the time the three of us hang out after school at Alice's house, and have ourselves a jolly good time. When I pushed open her front door, I saw that the two of them were setting up fancy and expensive bottles of wine up in size order on the counter. I also saw multiple broken picture frames with three times the glass on the floor. I crossed my arms, disappointedly waiting for them to notice me-- which took longer than I thought.

Hades finally looks over at me, jumping. "Quinn! How long have you been there!?"

"I just got here," I said, leaning on the wall.

"How'd you get in?" Alice asked, trying to cover the bottles of wine by standing in front of them. As you would imagine, it doesn't work very well.

"Your front door is wide open..."

"Then shut it, you doofus!"

"Fine, but only because I'm not a snitch." I shut the door tightly, locking it just in case before turning back around to face them again.

"Are you gonna tell my parents?"

"I just said I'm not a snitch... I wouldn't do that to you! Maybe I would, actually. It depends how I feel."

"Hey, now that you're here," Hades begins. "Why weren't you at school today?"

"Yeah, now that you mention it, I completely forgot you existed," Alice adds.

"Wow, thanks, way to make me feel better about myself," I sighed. I can't believe them right now. "I wasn't at school today because I was in the hospital because I went into diabetic shock yesterday. How could you forget that?"

"...Actually?" Hades questioned, looking surprised but also confused.

We all stood in silence for several minutes before I spoke again. "...You guys seriously don't remember? It literally was a whole deal-- my dad was literally at the school!"

"That's why there was a police officer...?"

"Am I seriously THAT forgettable to you guys?"

Alice approached me, putting a hand on my shoulder. "...Of course not, Quinny Quinn dear Quinn. We didn't forget! We were just pranking you-- of course we remember that happening! There's no way we would forget something like that!"
