This past month has been steady. After my birthday, I went right back to focusing on school. Jacob and I are going out on dates and we're beginning the romantic side of our relationship. I took the step of blocking Devin on everything but I just want to show Jacob I respect him and our relationship. I know that as long as I can see Devin there'll always be an opportunity for me to rekindle what we had.
I have a week off of school for Thanksgiving break. This year we are going to New York for the thanksgiving. New York is home to me and I will always love being in Brooklyn.
"Oh my god, look they redid the park." I said pointing out the window of the car.
Everyone looked out the window and we saw the newly redone park by our old apartment building.
"Why did we move again?" Jackson asked sounding disappointed.
"Cause mom and dad were tryna get out the hood." I seriously joke.
My mom smacked her lips.
"We were never in the hood Day Day." My mom said making us laugh.
"It's so cold. I love it." I said biting my lip in excitement.
My phone buzzed as we stopped at our air bnb. I let everyone get out the car and stayed behind to read my text message from Jacob.
Jacob🍆🫶🏼 How was your flight?

He didn't respond to me, instead he called me. Quickly, I answered as my phone rang.
"Hey baby." I said softly.
"Ew.." my mom said as a he came and grabbed her things. Ok
"Your family is so funny." Jacob said laughing. "Babe when you get back there's something I pgotta talk to you about.. "I got that picture you sent me," he said.
"Oh did you like it?" I ask batting my eyelashes.
"Yes I did. I gotta buy you more stuff like that." Jacob said.
A smile formed on my face at the memories of me taking each pictures of myself in the mirror. I've never done anything like that before. I've never even had lingerie but I feel so sexy and happy just knowing that that pictures would make Jacob feel good.
"Just make sure nobody gets those pictures." I tell Jacob.
He sighed, "Babe you know I wouldn't do that." He said.
