"What just happened?" asked Gong Jun. After pondering everything, Gong Jun had a sudden realization.
"Is that man also a ghost?" he exclaimed in his thoughts.
"What is this place? Whatever it is, I have to get out... What the heck?!" he exclaimed, almost close on harming himself from falling on a high end rooftop.
"What is this? I haven't even taken one step and I'm already in a rooftop?!" He nervously said after knowing that there was no ground behind him anymore. It seemed as though he had effortlessly floated from the first floor to the high last.
"How did I fly to the roof without realizing it?" he questioned. "Is this place really haunted?" he whispered.
Amidst his contemplation, a voice suddenly appeared. "If it isn't haunted, none of this will happen," the voice stated, sending shivers down Gong Jun's spine.
"Alright and who the heck are you? A ghost? Are you the man from before? If so please stay away from me! Where are you?" he stuttered nervously.
"Alright, Am I supposed to stay away or answer where I am?" the voice replied.
"Don't fool me! What are you? I mean WHO Are you... That Zi Shu? The man from before?" he inquired.
"You remember my name. Good memory," the voice teasingly remarked.
"I don't know maybe I just blurted it out knowing it's just one heck of a minute since you said that," Gong Jun stated. Gong Jun stated frustrated about his calamity.
"Why are you here? This is such a secluded place. What brought you here?" the voice asked.
"What a sly ghost! I'm not foolish. Give me your answer first, then I'll respond," Gong Jun expressed determinedly.
The other party stayed silent for a while and spoke again.
"Listen to me, I'm not a ghost. I reside in Xiao's mansion. I can hear you but can't see you. Since I caught a glimpse of you a moment ago, I can confirm you're not a ghost," the voice reassured.
"What do you mean? Of course, I'm not. I haven't even died," Gong Jun responded.
"Yeah, yeah, I know you're not. But I don't know who you are. I saw you entering; I helped you because I know that woman was already dead, but after that, you vanished," the voice explained.
"Don't twist the situation! It's evident that you're the one who vanished!" Gong Jun retorted.
"Are we really going to argue over that?" Zhehan said calming the situation
"Ok, Alright, alright. I am just as clueless as you are. It seems I'm a ghost to you like you're a ghost to me. I don't want to fight; can we just talk? I've been here for over a month without any company other than those ghosts. It's the first time I've spoken to a person like you," the voice shared. He added.
Gong Jun nodded and sat on the nearby sofa he spotted after descending from the rooftop through the first floor. "What kind of place is this, making me explore all corners by placing me on the rooftop?!" he thought.
Wait, what did he mean by fighting ghosts? Gong Jun thought to himself, "May I ask what you mean by fighting ghosts?"
"At night, the mirrors break on each floor, followed by groaning voices and the appearance of ghosts like the one you saw earlier. They won't harm you physically, but you should still be cautious," the voice explained.
Gong Jun nodded and sighed before speaking again, "By that time, will I see you again?"
"I don't know. The earlier situation was quite strange," the voice replied.
"What? I can see ghosts but not you? You're not a ghost. What kind of logic is that?" Gong Jun questioned.
"I don't know. Ask the house," the voice teased.
"You!" exclaimed Gong Jun.
With a slight laugh Zhehan sigh, "I'm sorry, but I'm not feeling well. Living here for three months has been a nightmare. I am still afraid to talk about them. Can you say something to calm me down?" Zhehan's voice carried the pain he had endured over the months.
"The heck. I'm scared myself," Gong Jun whispered.
