Joshua Hong POV

I was brought into the courtroom, my eyes were quickly to meet with Y/n. I smile to her as I'm walking handcuffed to the table I'm going to sit at to defend myself. I was in a jail jumpsuit that was orange while she's sitting there in black jumpsuit. She looked beautiful but she has been ignoring me ever since I got locked up again. I sat down next to my lawyer, still handcuffed until the officer began to take the handcuffs off of me. I feel my wrists because they were on tight. The judge begins to enter to the courtroom, everyone was quick to stand so did I.
The sheriff: everyone may be seated! At this time we ask you to turn your phones off and ask for you not to talk while court is in session! This morning we have case number 22673459 for Sunwoo verses Joshua.
Judge McFarland: Good morning people, so I read in the file that Joshua assaulted you Mr Sunwoo
The lawyer next to Sunwoo started to begin to talk for her to be hush by the judge and to let Sunwoo talk.
Sunwoo: That man over there...
I see from the corner of my eye that Sunwoo was pointing a finger at me and I wanted to laugh. He continued on what he said. The judge was quick to look at me after what Sunwoo said.
Judge McFarland: Joshua, did you learn nothing?
People in the court room began to laugh. I didn't hear y/n laugh though. I stood up since Sunwoo did when he talked his shit.
You: I STAB HIM IN SELF DEFENSE!
Judge McFarland: Now I saw you stated that in paper so I will be asking detective y/l/n to step up to the stand!
I didn't like where this was going, we were just a few minutes in and I already wanted out. Y/n got up from her seat, walked quietly to the stand and took a seat. She raised her hand and was asked to tell nothing but the truth under oath. Afterwards, judge McFarland was looking at her with spiteful.
Judge McFarland: So Ms Y/l/n, it was written that Mr Hong stabbed Sunwoo in self defense over you. Is that correct?
She was looking at the judge as she was quick to respond with yes. The judge looked at Sunwoo lawyer and that's when she stood up.
Lawyer of Sunwoo: Ms Y/l/n, on the night my client was stabbed it was your birthday party?
Y/n: Yes, it was my 28th birthday party and I was celebrating!
Lawyer of Sunwoo: Yes but why was Mr Hong there when he was arrested by you not once but on multiple occasions?!
The women were making eye contact with each other. She did have a good point and it definitely made people in the court room react because I turn to see what people think. I really didn't want to be seating here watching my fiance being asked these questions and that's when I see my lawyer stand up.
Mr Salazar: OBJECTION!
The judge laughed and shook his head.
Judge McFarland: She has a good point, Salazar. So please sit down
My lawyer sat down as Sunwoo lawyer was looking at y/n waiting for her answer.  I obviously hated this and wanted it to be over.
Y/n: I was unaware he was invited to the party until I saw him there while I was dancing.
Lawyer of Sunwoo: You didn't think of escorting him out of the party cause he is a murderer and Mafia boss!
The crowd was in shock that I was a Mafia boss and that's when my lawyer stood up again.
Mr Salazar: objection!
Judge McFarland: sit down Mr Salazar and be quiet!
My lawyer was pissed but sat down quickly and quietly. The judge looked at Y/n in concern. She looked at the judge than look at the room full of people.
Y/n: I didn't think of it at the time!
Judge McFarland: Alright! I think that enough for one day, we will return in two days in the morning!
The judge quickly got up from his chair, that makes the police officers were quick to surround me and put me in handcuffs. They lead me out of the courtroom, I had my eyes on Y/n as she was getting down from the stand looking at me. She looked devastated.
