A week later

When you left Joshua house that day, you didn't speak to Josh or Chris afterwards but that doesn't mean they haven't tried to reach out to you. You let the messages be sent, the calls be missed and the FaceTime calls left to ring. You really need the time alone, as time went on you really thought about how you feel and if it's really worth to be with either Joshua or Chris. You were sitting at your desk filing out paperwork about the case you just finished. That's why the captain approach your desk. You look up to her with a smile.
Captain Crowell: Good work Detective! It's been a long time since you solved a case this fast!
You: Thank you Captain, it means a lot to me!
Captain Crowell: You're welcome Detective! Goodnight
She walks away from your desk, you finished up the paperwork, opening up your desk and put it in there. You got up from your desk, going to the elevator and getting on. Captain Crowell and you rode the elevator down to the first floor, leaving you both walking out of the precinct and to the parking lot. You head to your personal vehicle, 1969 Dodge Super Bee, when you got to the driver door, you unlocked it and open the door. You got inside, close the door, put the key in the ignition and turned it on. You drove out of the parking lot, you were heading home and one the way home, you got a phone call incoming. You were driving, didn't feel like answering it but you looked over to see who was calling. You see the name read Joshua. You let the phone ring, soon you arrive to your house and went to your bedroom. You looked at the missed call from Joshua, you wonder if you should call him back or just wait to see if he will call again. You heard a knock on your bedroom door, you stopped looking at your phone and looked up at the door.
You: it's open!
That's when the door opens, it's Jennie and she waved at you. You waved back as she came into your room and sat down on the bed facing you.

ennie: I hope i wasn't interrupting or nothing
You: No you weren't, what's up?
Jennie: I didn't see you today so I wanted to see how you are doing!
You: Honestly I don't know if I should be with Chris or Joshua!
Jennie: I don't think neither of them are worth of having you!
You both giggle.
You: I mean I get your point but both of them make me really happy and safe.
Jennie: Girl you are wild! I feel like you will end up choosing Joshua cause I don't think Chris and you could be like you and Josh!
You: Yeah but Josh literally can't do anything! He is stuck to be home all the time do to the law! I don't know if I could do it, Jennie!
Jennie: You just have to believe in yourself, Y/n! Choose what the heart wants! You need to be happy Y/n! Don't worry about what other things! It's never of their business anyway!
You: PERIOD! See I'm glad we get along so great. Jimin might to watch out.
You both laugh and smile with each other.
Jennie: I'm glad I can help you! You deserve the best Y/n! Don't settle for less!
You: Thank you Jennie, your kind words always know how to help me! I'm glad Jimin chose you to be his girlfriend!
Jennie: Aw thank you Y/n! That means a lot to me! Speaking of him, I'm going to go back to being in bed with him so see you tomorrow.
She got up from your bed, heading towards the door but stops and looks at you for a moment.
You: You're welcome, have a good night!
Jennie: Anytime and you too Y/n!
She opens your bedroom door, walks out and closes it behind her. Your phone began to ring, it was an incoming FaceTime call from Chris and you decided to answer it immediately. He was shocked you answered. You can see he was laying in his bed shirtless.
Chris: Well hello there stranger
He laughs
You: I'm sorry about that Chris!
Chris: You know if you didn't want to be my baby, you could have said so!
You: It's not that Chris! I'm sorry that I didn't reach out to you, I had work and some things on my mind!
Chris: Oh really? I hope all of that is true!
You: It is Chris, what have you been up to ?
Chris: busy with work but thinking of you, I finished my case today!
You: That's pretty good to hear, I have thought about you too and I have finished my case today too!
Chris: Ah I'm glad to hear that we have that in common, with that being said I'm coming to LA to see you and you better be ready baby girl!
You: Yes I will be ready! I can't wait to see you handsome!
Chris: Me too! It's late for me, I'm tired so goodnight sleep well and it was nice finally getting to talk! You better talk to me more!
You: I will, have a good night and I will message you when I wake up!
He hung up the phone, you put your phone down and started thinking about if you should really see him.
