Your POV: the next day

In the warmth underneath your blankets sleeping away dreaming about Joshua to be woken up to your phone ringing. You woke up quickly, grabbed it and answered.
Captain Crowell: You get the hell down to my office right now!
She hung up the phone, the tone in her voice was pure anger and you were frightening by it. When you took your phone away from your ear you saw the time was 6:25 in the morning and you sight. You honestly began to worry but had to get up to get ready. You began the process of getting ready. You made sure to look as good as possible. You went downstairs, you saw your brother was eating breakfast as maid Justice was vacuuming the living room.
Jimin: Early morning again?
You: Never stops!
Jimin: I have noticed you haven't been wearing your ring since that day, is everything alright?
You were honestly sad with everything that was going on but didn't have the time to express that to Jimin. You stood there smiled awkwardly as he was still eating his plate of food.
You: Everything is fine, Jimin! I just got to get to work right now!
You grabbed an apple and started walking towards the front door. You grabbed your keys to the super bee and saw your wedding ring in the drawer. You stared at it for a second but close the drawer and open the front door.
Jimin: Be safe girl scout
You: Yeah thanks!
You laugh as you walk out of the door and walk to the driveway. You see the gardener boy again but this time he was watering the grass. You walk up to him with a smile on your face, he noticed you and smiles as well.
You: Hey! You are here pretty early!
Matthew: Yeah! The earliest the best! I think it's beautiful out here!
You: Yes definitely! This is my childhood home and I definitely have many memories in this garden
Matthew: Wow I definitely believe that! This garden is very beautiful and your house is beautiful too
You: Awe thank you! I have work to get to, I'm sorry to interrupt but hope to catch up soon!
Matthew: Yes! I will be glad to hear from you soon!
You walk away from him, get in your car and start it. You drive out of your driveway onto the main road to go to work. You show up to work by 7:15 and was in Captain Crowell office by 7:22! She didn't have the happiest look on her face.
Captain Crowell: Why is there a rumor going around that you're engaged to Joshua Hong?
You were honestly shocked but not that much.
You: No ma'am, That man and I have never done anything before and that's a insane rumor!
She had a stern look on her face.
Captain Crowell: You mean to tell me Joshua and you never met-

You got up from her chair and began to walk away as she stop you at the door.
Captain Crowell: Good luck tomorrow in court!
You walk out of her office, closing the door behind you and beginning to sigh. You walk back to your desk and was quick to see Chris.
Chris: You know you can't afford me if you wanted to!
He had you your favorite Starbucks drink, you grabbed it from him and you begin to drink it.
Chris: So I didn't see you at court yesterday so he is getting a year in prison
You: That's it?
Chris: Yeah, it could have been more convincing if you were there and said your statement!
He had a stern look on his face but he walked away from you. You sat down at your desk wondering what's everyone's problem.
