chapter9 - the date and the confession

Charlotte-
I'm so shocked mia was the deputy but now I'm nervous because everyone Hates her. But it doesn't bother me I know what she's really like. She is just so, well, sexy. I need to stop thinking about fir for a but and carry on with my day. But I can't.

The day went by painfully slowly and I was looking forward to our date. I got off work at 6 and sped home. When I got in I ran upstairs to get ready. I just went with a skirt and a top as I was so tired and couldn't be bothered to stand ages looking for an outfit. I straightened my hair then ran downstairs to light some candles turn some lights on and get some cosy blankets out then I called the pizza man and ordered us some pizza. I was just about to run back upstairs to put some makeup on when the doorbell rang.

What she's here already I haven't even got any makeup on I look a mess. I open the door and let her in.
'Hello Sweetheart'
'Hi how are you'
'I'm good thank you'
I take her into the living room and we sit down on the sofa. She looks absolutely stunning and I look a mess.
'Do you want a drink'
I ask
'Sure that would be nice'
'Alright what would you like'
'I'll jist have whatever your having Sweetheart'
'Gin and tonic ok??'
'Perfect'
She says
I go and get our drinks and take them back into the living room and sit on the arm of the sofa.
'Thank you sweetheart'
'Your welcome, so what would u like to watch'
'Anything I'm honestly not fussed'
'Alright'
I put on a romantic comedy and I handed her a blanket she spread it out on the and held up a corner
'Are you coming sweetheart'
I felt so nervous she was asking me to sit right next to her.
I stood up and sat down next to her. She covered me up with blanket
'Thank you'
'Your welcome sweetheart'
'I ordered a pizza it should be here soon'
'Ah thank you sweetheart'
We started watching the begginging of the movie I sat there awkwardly. I didn't know what to do. She just makes me nervous I feel like I'm going to mess everything up.
The doorbell rang and I went to the door to get the pizza. I came back and set it down on the table.
'Thank you sweetheart'
'Your welcome'
I sat down on the arm of the chair again. She made me so nervous snd she smelled amazing I didn't know what to do so I just sat there uncomfortably and awkwardly.
She looked over at me
'Charlotte'
She said with a smile on her face almost laughing
'Yeah'
I said confused
'What are you doing'
'Umm sitting'
'Yes I can see that but why are you sitting so far away'
'Umm because..'
'Char'
She said with a serious look on her face. I couldn't hold it in anymore so I just had to tell her.
'Well first off all I just don't know what to do if I sit next to you. You make my nervous and you smell so good it's doing something to me and you look absolutely amazing like really amazing and I look like this and I didn't have time to put any makeup on as I was rushing and lost track of time'
'Char'
'And I was so nervous about this date as I'm just an awkward person and I didn't know what to so so I jist chose a movie but It didn't cross my mind that you would come here look good smell good and be so nice'
'Char'
'And I'm now sat here like an absolute melon not knowing what to do because I can't flirt and I just sit here awkwardly because I've never done this before. Well I have with men but that was years ago. Never with someone like you that looks as good as toy do talks to me like you do and treats me like you do.'
'Char'
She said it a slightly raised voice.
'Yeah'
I said. Oh my god what have I just done I've just confessed everything to her and now she looks mad and I've just screwed everything up.
