Chapter13 - The News

Mia-

I got in my car and drove home as fast as I could to get ready for our date. Char was a princess and deserved to be treated like one. I decided to take her out. Take her where I'm not sure however we need to go out and I need to tell her my news. I don't know how she's going to feel but I know we're going to be OK. When I got home I flung open the door and ran up the stairs. I had to get ready quickly. I hopped in the shower and quickly washed my hair, i had around an hour to get ready before char was coming so i quickly messaged her when i got out the shower to tell her we were going out so to wear something comfy but appropriate to go out in. i dried my hair and straightened it as always then put on a bit of makeup then i headed to my wardrobe to pick out an outfit. i didnt know what to wear but i needed to look good for char. i decided on a floor length tight black dress and some black sandal heals. i grabbed my handbag, filled it with the essentials and went downstairs into the kitchen. A few minutes later i heard to doorbell ring i opened it and saw char. She looked absolutely stunning as usual. She was wearing a black and white above the knee dress and she had curled her hair.

"wow you look absolutely-"

I started to drool slightly at the thought of her dancing around in that dress.

"Thank you, you look absolutely too"

She began to giggle i laughed with her.

"sorry i mean you look absolutely jaw droppingly gorgeous sweetheart."

"aww in the case so do you. So where are you taking me darling"

"youll see"

and with that i took her hand and lead her out the door towards my car and i opened the passenger door for her and she sat down and i shut the door behind her and walked round to the drivers side. We talked the whole was to the restaurant and when we went inside char was shocked.

"You brought me to my favourite chinese restaurant"

"of course i did sweetheart"

"Thank you"

She said before planting a soft kiss upon my lips. i love her so much and i think she loves me too. this news isnt going to be the nicest for either of us but i know we will pull through it. SHe was the strongest person i knew and if she could get through all shes been through im sure this will seem easy for her. We got escorted to a table and got given our plates. This was an all you can eat buffet and i know char loved to come here sp i thought as she was special and this place was special to her then she would love it. We absolutely stuffed ourselves with of food and we were so full we could hardly move. We drove back to mine and char settled herself on the sofa while i went into the kitchen to get the wine. after than i went into the living room to sit by char we were cuddled up on the sofa.

"so i thought we were going in the pool tonight."

She said with a mischievous grin on her face. 

"Well i did say that and i also remember telling you not to bother bringing a swimsuit"

"you did say that however i did bring a swimsuit because i did want to be prepaired just incase you changed you mind"

" Its completely up to you sweetheart i dont want to rush you in any way"

"I think i might wear it if thats ok"

" of course it is "

" Well i will warn you it is a very strappy binkini and it doesnt have a lot of fabric to it"

"Even better"

i said laughing. we went upstairs to get a swimsuit for me i let char choose for me and she chose one almost identical to hers however mine was black and wheres was dark blue. We got changed and headed down to the pool. i grabbed chars hand and we ran and jumped in together. We spent a lot of time swimming around and messing about before we got into the hottub i was sat down and char was sat on my lap nuzzling into my neck. i wanted the moment to last forever. 

"Mia?"

"Yes char"

"As much as i love being here with you right now can we go upstairs and get dressed"

" Of course we can love"

i climbed out of the hottub with char still in my arms and carried her up 2 flights of stairs and into my bedroom she looked as if she was going to fall asleep in my arms so i sat her down on the bed while she was dripping wet

"char"

there was no answer

"charrrr"

i said in a sing song voice

"char you need to wake up sweetheart we need to get you out of these clothes and into a bath"

she groaned annoyingly

"char do u want me to run you a bath and help you get undressed"

"mhm"

she nodded sleepily. i carried her into the bathroom and placed her on the toilet seat lid and ran her a bath. Then i took her swimsuit of and helped her into the bath. i could see her muscles relaxing she had asked me to wash her hair for her so i did then i helped her out of the bath and into some of my comfy clothes.

"Mia"

she said. She was more awake now.

"yes gorgeous"

"Can i stay here tonight"

"of course you can sweetheart anytime but char i need to tell you something"

She sat up and moved so she was sat next to me on the bottom of the bed.

"What is it Mia"

"i have to leave for 3 weeks, Roger gave me more information on my dad and i need to go and try to find him."

"your leaving"

she said as tears started to form in her eyes.

"yes sweetheart and im really sorry but ill be back before youknow it"

"please dont leave me"

She said while sobbing

"im so sorry but i need to sweetheart as much as it breaks my heart to leave you"

she started violently sobbing in my arms and i started to tear up.

"When do u leave"

she chocked out 

"tomorrow night"

i said 

"you have to leave that soon"

"Yes i do im so sorry sweetheart"

She had started to calm down by now and had sat back up

"i know you get lonely without the keys so im going to give you a key to my house so you can come and visit whenever you want whether im here or not. ok sweetheart"

"alright thank you mia"

She said holding back her tears.i hated seeing her like this but i knew a way i might be able to calm her down.

"do u want to get into bed sweetheart"

"yes please"

She whispered as i kissed her softly and got into bed. She climbed in next to me and i opened my arms wide and she rolled into them. i cuddled her and stroked her back until she fell asleep. I never wanted to hurt her but i knew i needed to to this for me.
