Chapter 3 - Squirm

*Edward*

I arrived at the special spot that me and Bella shared it was a meadow that we found “hey” she smiled and came to kiss me but I shifted away “what’s wrong” she asked I pulled out my phone and showed her a picture what Katie took “you’ve been cheating on me” she looked shocked “tell me how does Katie feel about you being in the arms of someone she’s fallen for” then she looked down “we’re over Bella” I walked off heading home.

It was Monday an I offered to pick Katie up she said she was going to walk because she didn’t want to show off her car just yet so I said I’d pick her up I honked the horn and Bella came out “what are you doing here I thought we were over” she asked when Katie came out “he is giving me a lift I hope you don’t mind” she smiled we looked at each other “wow this is awkward okay lets go” she took the passenger’s side “does she know you know” I asked her as we pulled away “nope I’m having much more fun watching her squirm every time I talk about him its quite amusing” she giggled “I’ve known you for one day and I know my family would love you you’re evil” I chuckled.

We arrived at school and news that I had dumped Bella had already gotten round I saw the others waiting for me they knew everything “hey you must be Katie” Alice chimed “yes that me the cheaters sister” she looked down “hey don’t worry Edward told us the whole story how could she do that to you” Rose cut in she shrugged “no idea but it’s fun watching her squirm” she smirked “I like you” Alice, Rose and Emmett said “okay so this is Alice, Rosaline, Emmett and Jasper and guys this is Katie” I intervened “I love you outfit Alice” Katie commented “Thanks but yours is better” she gushed

It was now lunch and we all met up “please sit with us” Alice pleaded “okay, okay” the girls had been acting they knew each other their whole life. The lads were teasing me saying I should go for the other Swan. “Katie what are you doing” Bella asked “err sitting with my friends why?” she looked confused but she got dragged away

*Katie*

“he’s my ex and your hanging around with him” she screeched at me “hey I may have only met him yesterday but he’s nice and so are the other Cullen’s it not my fault you cheated on him” I scolded “he told you” she looked panicked I had to laugh inside “well yeah but not who with why” I quizzed she looked relieved “oh good” she muttered “well I’m going to ask Edward to drop me off at Jakes I haven’t seen him in ages” she gave tight smile and sifted her clothes “cool see you later” with that she left

I went back to the Cullen’s table and burst out in laughter “what’s wrong with you” Emmett asked “sometimes it’s just too easy” I told them what happened and Emmett ended the same way I did “so how do you fancy make dear Jake uncomfortable knowing Bella she would have told him by now” he nodded “sure why not” he answered “you are defiantly one of us Katie your bringing Edward bad side out” Rose commented I just smiled “she’s looking over her” Jasper told us “Edward pretend to whisper something in Katie’s ear” Rose told him Edward leaned over “welcome to the family” he whispered I smiled.

“Oh she is so jealous” Alice told us I looked at Bella who went back to talking with her friend serves you right.

It was after school and Edward and I were going to Jake’s Edward saw Bella heading in the same direction so we followed (Kind of). we pulled up outside I howled “why do you do that” he asked “oh when we were younger it would be a call sigh so we knew when the other one was near it kind of just stuck I knocked on the door and Jake answered “Katie” he faked smiled “and Edward” who just nodded “Jakey I missed you” I hugged him and he returned

Inside Bella was there and it all became tense “is everything okay” I played dumb they all nodded “right well it’s just a quick visit because being at dance school and all I missed so much” I chirped I really should be an actress “I missed you two my Kitty Kat” right then I tensed but returned a tight smile “so...we... are going now bye Jake.” I walked out tears were brimming “hey are you alright” Edward asked me I nodded

We were back at mine in my room “come on tell me you tense after he called you Kitty Kat” he draped an arm over me. We had been assigned to do a project “he gave me that nickname when I was four

We were running around playing tag with some of the others Bella was inside and didn’t want to come out “ha got you Kitty Kat” he hugged me from behind “why do call me that” I asked “because last year you dressed like a kitty Kat and I loved how that nickname suited you. You’re my Kitty Kat” I giggled

“He called me his Kitty Kat every time he saw me even more so when we grew up when I was older and liked him more it always made me feel special like I had a chance. But he’s with my sister” tears spilled over and Edward hugged me “how could she do that she knows how I feel” I sobbed “everything’s going to be okay” he soothed me “why doesn’t she just tell me instead of hiding it that’s what’s worse” he lifted me up and wiped away my tears “don’t waste your tears over them just hold you head up high and move on” he told me

We were really close I looked at his lips so kissable. But I can’t he’s my sisters ex – boyfriend ‘didn’t stop her from snogging the one you fell for’ a part of me said then he placed his lips on mine. It felt so right.

*Bella*

Well that was awkward “does she know” Jake asked me “nope. Clueless but did you see the way she reacted when you called her Kitty Kat” Katie and Edward just left and I was back to just us two he came and wrap his arms around me “yeah that’s never happened before” he kissed my temple

I got back home and went upstairs “and move on...” Edward voice came from Katie’s room I looked in they were staring at each other Katie had been crying Edward leaned forward and kissed her and she kissed back it became heated that when I had to look away my ex and my sister I guess I had it coming.

I sat down on my bed I felt really bad mostly because of Katie she has no idea I’m with Jake and that’s the reason Edward found out I wasn’t my fault it just happened and we couldn’t stop it now I lost a great guy and if Katie found out a sister too.
