Chapter 9 - After the Ball

*Charlie*

I was downstairs having coffee when Katie entered “morning daddy” she gave me a kiss on the cheek then switched on the radio “Bella hold it against me is on” she shouted Bella’s footsteps pounded downstairs as they started making breakfast. ‘Would you hold it against me’ she sang. They started cooking, everything was back to normal they were sisters again. Laughing

I looked to the door Edward and Jacob came in “erm what are you...” I was shushed by the girls as the continued singing. I pointed to outside they followed me “why are you half dressed with my daughters” I out my hands on my hips and give them a questioning look. “It’s not what you think Charlie” Jake started “really?” he nods “the girls wanted us to stay” Edward chipped in

“You didn’t say no because...” I asked for them to continue “they are very persuasive for example Bella told Jake if he didn’t she would have Katie kick his ass” then Jake intervened “where as Edward is just whipped” Jake laughed “whipped?” they looked at each other then back at me “Katie has this face that she pulls in some cases I just like cave in” I nodded “but it’s only small things like staying the night” he explained

*Katie*

“here look, look” I did a little break dance she laughed I noticed Edward and Jacob had left “breakfast is ready” Bella announced “I’ll get the others” I walked out and found them talking “breakfast ready” I told them then went back in “I’ve already had mine I’m off” dad told me “okay”

Back in the kitchen were all having toast that’s right toast all the prep and dancing was for toast I was sat on Edward’s lap and Bella was sat on Jake’s munching toast “right I’m off” dad shouted “Bye” me and Bells replied. “So how do you have pj bottoms here?” I asked Edward “Alice there was a note left on your dresser she had a feeling I would be needing them” he replied I laughed “should have known oh she’ll be picking up her make up soon” I thought out loud.

We were sat on the sofa Bella had the great idea of taking the makeup back to Alice so we me being Edward and I were all alone. Most of the time we were making out, what his lips are just there and when we wern't making out we were talking about random things, it was getting late. Oh I forgot next week we’ll have been together 6 months wow time files by.

We were held in each other’s arms before he left “do you have another performance soon” he asked me I thought about it “erm the day after our six month anniversary” I replied “oh yeah well I’m gonna spoil you” he brought me closer “really” I asked he nodded “well I do love you” I giggled “I love you too” I stood up on my tip toes and kissed him gently.

He drove off as dad pulled up “hey kiddo” he got out “hey daddy” I smiled “was that Edward leaving” I nodded “whets going on between you and him you’re not. You know” my eyes went wide “DAD. NO! He’s not like that and I’m nowhere near ready” I protested as we went into the house “don’t even think about the birds and the bees talk.” I run up to my room there are some places you should never go there with a dad and this is one of them.

Bella came back not long after “hey” she sat down on my bed “you never believe what dad just asked” I sat up “what?” she looked confused “if me and Edward ya know” she pulled a face “ewe that’s just wrong” she replied “I know” I stressed “have you?” she questioned me I chucked a pillow at her “no. Edward as you may know is a proper gentleman when I comes to that kind of stuff unless he puts a ring on my finger we just make out” I told her “okay don’t want that image I my head” she crossed her legs “just be glad he didn’t ask you, you’re a rubbish liar” I smirked and she looked down “so is he good” her head snapped up

“What?!” she shrieked “jeez relax it’s just a question. Is he” I raised an eyebrow “I’m not discussing my sex life with you” I laughed “oh I take it he’s average good but not good enough” he face turned horrified sometimes it’s just way to easy “don’t worry I won’t tell a soul” oh she’s going to blow “DON’T YOU MAKE ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT MY BOYFRIEND WHEN YOU HAVEN’T BEEN THERE WITH YOURS!” she walked out in a huff I started laughing hysterically
