Chapter 6 - The Big Performance

It was the big night and I was getting really nervous everyone who I asked was here already Dad seemed to be getting on with Edward I was glad “would you stop pacing your making me nervous” Alex stopped me just then Saffy and Lexii clung onto Edward as they came in “oh my god Katie look at you your half decent” Saffy looked me up and down “hey baby” he separated himself from the two witches “hey” his kissed my cheek “Alice and Rose did a good job” I looked down “hey don’t look down I want to see the girl I fell in love with now whereas that smile” I smiled at him.

“Oh by the way the lads are here with Jacob and Bella” he bolted out before I could say anything. “were on Katie” Scotty told me I nodded and we took to the stage “hey everybody I’m Katie  with me are Scotty and Alex our first song is for all the lovers out there this is Love Story.” The band and the lads started.

I close my eyes and the flashback starts:

We finished everyone clapped I looked back at the other who were smiling ‘mean’ Alex winked I nodded “okay out last song and to round up the evening this is Mean”

Katie was given a banjo as she started playing that was my little girl and she was shining

Everyone was singing and clapping along and when she finished everyone cheered “encore” who believe to be Alice and Rosaline shouted then others chanted I joined in as well. “Okay seen as Miss Swan is so popular one more song” an old mad said she looked at the boys as they sorted something out “alright erm this is teardrops on my guitar.” She blushed

They finished and bowed again then took their leave. The three were met by cheers when they reached us I hugged her “you were amazing” I told her “thank you daddy” she hugged back. She went on to the others.

Tonight was beyond amazing the crowd asked for an encore that was just unreal then oh then someone came from a music company and gave me his card saying once I finished school that I would have a good chance at career that blew my mind “you were great baby” Edward kissed me “ugh get a room you two” Rosie covered her eyes, we laughed and got into the car. In the car the girls gushed about the performances

I arrived home, Edward opened the door and lead me to the door “I’ll see you tomorrow” I nodded then he gave me a goodnight kiss.
