Chapter 2 - The Next Day Shocker

I woke up with a smashing headache and I found myself in my room and some Advil waiting which I took. I stumbled downstairs where what’s his face Bella’s boyfriend was scrolling through her phone “ugh mpftt” I groaned “morning” he smiled at me I wafted my hand at him “Bella is out with friend and will be back in a few hours and your dad’s at work. Bella asked me to keep an eye on you given your current state” he explained I just nodded.

Getting out of the shower I felt more better I dressed in a striped tank bop with cropped jeans and pumps. The grabbed my sun glasses I jogged down stairs “come on what’s you face your driving” I chucked car keys at him he got up “and why am I coming with you?” was his first question I grabbed some cash and stuffed in my pocket “well I’m still intoxicated and  you have to keep an eye on me” I got in on the passenger’s side and he slipped into the driver’s side “who’s car is this?” it was a silver BMW “my ex boyfriend’s dad loved me like his own this was a birthday present” I shrugged

We arrived outside a Wal-Mart “so what are we here for anyway” he asked getting out of the car “school supplies as well as other things” I replied “so what’s your name I can’t remember if Bells told me” we entered the wall mart and we headed for school supplies “Edward Cullen and you are Katie” I nodded I gave him the once over while I was picking up stuff all in all he was quite fit.

With all the supplies picked up and some junk food we headed back for mine I switch the radio and What about we stated playing I sung along rolling the windows down.

Right now it is hard on staying to be faithful to Bella, Katie is just beyond beautiful talented and full of life; not that Bella isn’t it’s just Katie shows it more she does little dance moves and signing along I can’t help but smile.

The police cruzer was pulled in, Katie got out but just as her phone went off “Em?... she’s what yeah I’m coming” she shook her head “keys please” she held out her hand I handed them and she rushed to the car “what’s going on.” I asked her “oh this and that” she gave me a quick smile before getting in the car I stood in front “WHAT ARE YOU DOING! “She exclaimed “you’re hiding something. Tell me” she sighed “just please move out of the way” she begged “only if you take me with you” she flung her hand in the air “fine” she gave in and I got in. We entered the reservation and she pulled to the side “we walk from her” she did a howl and 3 boys came out “look after the car. Where are they” one pointed down the road.

We arrived where the three lads pointed and Katie pulled me behind a tree then peeked out. Bella was with Jacob and they kissed. She was cheating on me I...I... don’t know what to say Katie looked back at me “how could she do that she knew I liked him and she has you” she whispered I hugged her then she brought out her phone. And looked back at the too “hey Katie what’s up” I leaned against the phone to listen “oh hey Bella I was gonna head down to Jacob’s for a while want to join I’ll pick you up” she asked I saw Bella shift “err nah I think I’m gonna head home” she replied “oh okay well god this is embarrassing do you think would have any luck with Jacob” she blurted out Bella spun to Jacob “Jake I dunno last time I spoke with him he was seeing someone sorry” as she told Katie she kissed Jacob “okay”

she turned to me and smirked the pointed to the two “oh I forgot to tell you thanks for leaving Edward he was awesome you have good taste Bells nice arse” Bella jaw dropped “you were staring at my boyfriend’s arse” she screamed we giggled and Katie gesture to me to follow her.

We got back in the car “oh hang on Ed wants to talk to you” ‘put in on speaker’ she mimed which I did “Hello love” I was beyond mad I just found out she was cheating on me don’t give me the crap I was when I wasn’t I just couldn’t help but realised how beautiful Katie was “why does my sister have a nickname for you” she yelled Katie started driving away “I don’t know love I guess she was trying to annoy me” I heard her sigh “so do you want to meet up tonight” our head snapped to each other Katie was in shock. “Yeah sure”

In the car Katie turns to me “I’m sorry” she looked at me “for what making me go on a date with my cheating girlfriend” she nodded “what’s the deal with you and Jacob anyway” I asked “he was my first kiss I’m had a massive crush on him ever since all those others I went out with was to make me forget. He’s always loved Bella I’m just the little sister” she shrugged “is that why you go out drinking” I asked she nodded “whenever I come out of a relationship the full force of who I really wanted hits me like a truck” she explained “now seeing my own sister have him I really want to get beyond smashed”

We took everything she bought inside “hey dad I’m home” she shouted but he was engrossed in the TV “okay” we went upstairs into her room it was filled with band posters and stuff “so what are you going to do?” she started put stuff in the school bag “I don’t know I mean you saw it yourself she was pretty smitten” I sighed just then my phone buzzed

“Well that’s her” she nodded “thanks for today it was cool and you’re alright” she smiled I nodded and left
