Chapter 8 - The Ball

*Alice*

“Rose, Hurry up” I shouted tonight was the senior ball we’re heading over to Katie’s and Bella’s but Rose is too busy with Emmett “I swear to god Rose if you’re not don here in 30 seconds I’m leaving” I count as I start walking to the door she isn’t down so I leave. Emmett will have to give her a lift.

I knock on the house of the Swan’s and Charlie answers “ah hello Alice, no Rosaline?” I shook my head “she couldn’t part herself from dear Emmett so I left her she’ll be here soon” I smiled at him and he let me in “the girls are in Katie’s room” he pointed upstairs I nodded and went up. The girls were talking both in dressing gown and a towel holding their hair up “hey girls” I smile “hey” I told them how Rosie wouldn’t move her arse and we all laughed.

10 minutes later Rose turned up fuming “you left me” she stated “well done. That will teach you” I began doing Katie’s makeup while Rose did Bella’s hair, then we swapped. After we finished them to they did the same to us Katie did hair while Bella did makeup. It took nearly and hour and a half to do all four of us. We started getting dressed one by one until it was 20 minutes before the start of the ball we heard talking downstairs.

“We’re ready” I shouted down the was patter of feet looked down Emmett, Jasper, Jacob and Edward were all in line with Charlie at the end “Rose you first. Then me , Bella and last Katie” Rosaline stepped down stair “wow” was all Emmett said I gave the others a thumbs up before heading down myself. Jasper smiled as I took the final step “you look beautiful” I giggled and looked to the stairs Charlie took a photo of Bella then Jake took her side for another photo “your turn Edward” I smirked Katie looked the best out of all of us Katie gathered a bit of her dress and took careful steps down and looked up I though Edwards eyes were going to pop out Charlie took a picture of her on her own and with Edward.

We all got in separate cars with our date and went off to the venue.

*Katie*

It was the start of the ball and it was amazing. “hello everyone can I have your attention please” our principal spoke “thank you for those who don’t know me is Ms Richards I’m the principal at Forks high Mrs Black send her apologies that she couldn’t be here for the start.” She took a breath “welcome to the senior ball and I hope you have a good time so for the first slow dance of the evening please enjoy yourselves” she left the stage as every time we touch slow version stated to play “may I have this dance” he held out his hand I took it.

We began swaying “you look breaths taking tonight” I blushed “thank you. You look very dashing” I held my head up he leant down and kissed me it was only the start of the night and I was loving it I wish I stayed like this forever. We parted lips and smiled at each other. Bella and Jake caught my eye they were just like us in the moment.

The night went on song played and we dance with each other. Right now my heals were of and I was sat on Edwards lap and my head on his shoulder “I think it’s time we should be getting you home” Edward commented I groaned “no your comfy” he chuckled

*Edward*

“No your comfy” I chuckled. I lifted her up as did the others with their dated “Bella and Alice were already asleep where as Rose and Katie was nearly there. I laid her down in my car and strapped her in. Before taking my side and driving to her house. Arriving back at here’s I open the door Charlie said he would leave it open. Jake followed me in with Bella. “Night my beautiful Katie” I kissed her fore head.

I was about to leave when Katie pulled me back “no so fast pretty boy” she said sleepily “let me guess, you want me to stay” she nodded “let me use the toilet first she nodded and went to change I went out and Jake came out of the bathroom “she want you to stay too” I guessed “yep. She threatens for Katie to kick my ass” he shook his head “what’s your excuse” he ask “as Alice would put it I’m whipped”

We laughed and I went to the toilet. I stripped and climbed in next to Katie “I love you Edward” I melted “I love you too Katie” with that we fell asleep
