winter sat on her bed, her phone in her hand but she wasnt on her phone. instead, she stared at her wall with a wide, toothy smile. her phone was constantly vibrating in her hand, her friends messaging her repeatedly but she didnt focus on that.

she could stop thinking about a certain someone. she had met this girl called karina earlier and since their two minute interaction, karina was the only thing winter could think about.

"winter!" her mother called out to her, "ningning is here!" she continued. winter didnt respond just let out a sigh whilst karina continued to do laps around her mind. "winter?" her mother called out again, but winter still didnt respond.

a few seconds later, her door opened revealing a frowning ningning. "winter..?" her friend called out getting no reaction, caused ningning to walk towards winter and wave a hand in front of her face.

that caught winter's attention almost immediately and she snapped out of her daydream and turned her head towards ningning, "oh ning! hey!" winter smiled but it wasnt the same smile she had a few seconds before.

"whats up with you?" ningning questioned, raising a brow. winter smiled softly at her friend's reaction. "i dont think i told you, but i met a really pretty girl today!" winter squealed as she remembered karina's features and ningning gave her friend a look of disgust before motioning her to continue.

"so basically, i was on my way to the shop because i wanted gummy worms and we ran out. and when i got there i found these cool gummy worms that were sweet and sour at the same time!" winter almost drooled just thinking about those gummies she managed to eat in one minute after buying them.

"what were they called? with the way you're describing them i want some for myself." ningning asked, winter gave an evil smile. "i could tell you but that would be no fun." winter smirked. "tell me or im telling your mom you were the one that sold her limited edition dior lipstick." ningning deadpanned and winter's smirk dropped and her face contorted to a horror filled look.

"ok! ok! they were called twin snakes or something like that! dont tell her please, she will literally kill me!" winter begged, fear evident in her eyes. ningning laughed and nodded, "thank you" she winked as she smiled to herself.

"not the point!" winter frowned but continuing. "i got my gummy worms and walked to the front counter, as i put my stuff down this girl walks in the shop and the air immediately changed. it was like the air filled with rich people and i dont know why." winter said, her hands doing some of the talking for her.

"i look back at the cashier and he looked disappointed, and i was so confused cause the air tasted, smelt and felt like rich people and this broke ass cashier is shaking his head like im some little school girl who stole a toy or something." winter rolled her eyes while ningning laughed.

"so anyways, i look back at this cashier guy and im peacefully getting my card out to pay right? and all of a sudden i feel this presence near me. but it was unlike any other presence. it was the rich one that changed the whole air when i first came to pay." winter said her eyes widening and narrowing as she spoke.

"so i finally get my card and just as im about to pay a hand grabs mine while someone else's card is put on the card reader. i turn to see who the fuck payed for my gummy worms and i see this beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, ethereal, out-of-this-world, one-of-a-kind, ai-generated woman." winter said, her cheeks subconsciously hearing up and going a pink colour.

"you sound so in love" ningning giggled while winter slapped her shoulder playfully. "she looks at me in my two eye-balls and goes, 'your welcome' before walking out the shop with like five bodyguards following her!" winter squeaked replaying the moment their eyes locked and the thousands of fireworks that set off inside her.

ningning nodded along, "i take my stuff and walk out, but as im walking out the shop i feel a hand grab my wrist. so i obviously turn around and punch whoever grabbed me cause no one will just be out here grabbing me and expect to just get away with it!" winter exclaimed as her brows furrowed.

ningning shook her head, "why do you get to live the kdrama life? i wanna live that life too!" ningning whined and pouted while winter giggled, "get on my level?" she said 'innocently' as she tilted her head to the side.

"right but anyways, i punch this person and you will never guess who it was!" winter starts and ningning finished her sentence by going, "the rich lady from earlier!" winter nodded her head and snaps her fingers. "yes! exactly her!"

"continue!" ningning said as she got comfortable on winter's bed. "yeah so anyways, all her bodyguards get all defensive and shit and try to like kick me back up my mother but shes all like 'no guys, its ok i had that one coming.' and im there like 'what a gentlewoman.'" winter says, as ningning laughed at her exaggeration.

"she looks at me and goes, 'your so pretty that i couldnt help but stop and stare just to take in your beauty. so i decided a better was to earn your attention was to pay for your stuff but you never said anything, not even a thank you, may i ask why is that?' and i just stood there trying to understand her really posh accent but after like three seconds i look at her eyes and oh my! the world stopped moving i swear!" winter said recalling the events that happened.

"then i look at her go, 'to be totally honest with you, i dont know but you are so stunning i thought i should say that now before i regret it later.' she laughed and i swear it was the most attractive thing i have ever seen!" winter yells before being reminded by her mother that her baby brother was still taking a nap so minimal volume was appreciated.

"more attractive than yeji?" ningning asked and winter nodded. "i hate to say this but way more attractive than yeji!" and ningning's eyes widened at this. "your in love!" she squealed and winter paused for a moment before nodding. "yeah probably."

winter then continued, "yeah so anyways, she laughed and then looked at me in my eyes again and was like, 'my name is karina, here's my number incase you wanted to get to know each other better' and with a smirk walks away. it took her bodyguards a while to realise she was done with conversation so she whistled then raised her hand and they all followed her immediately, i mean can someone get more attractive than that?!" winter exclaimed.

ningning nodded her head, "i mean i think im way more attractive than that but you're in love so i wont burst your bubble for now." winter scoffed. "but anyways the amount of butterflies i got from her was crazy!"

ningning though for a second before looking into winter's eyes, an evil smirk on her face. "wanna text her?" she suggested and winter went pink at that.
