the moon shone through the window, casting a glow of white and a few grey hues here and there. the room had been painted with the delicate strokes of moonlight as a boy shifted and turned in his bed, unable to catch a second of sleep.

he groaned and faced his ceiling, deciding the only way he could fall asleep was if he managed to bore himself to exhaustion. unfortunately, that didnt work either so he could only huff as he stared at his ceiling, silently cursing it for not having the effect it usually does.

he sat up and turned his head to the right, the door that was closed shut had now seemed to tempting to open and walk out of. and to be fair, beomgyu was never one to hold back from doing things, never thinking before acting.

so he got up and walked out the room, venturing to the leader's room in hopes that he could finally get even the tiniest but of sleep there. but once he had arrived and opened the door, he felt a little more than disappointed to see that his leader was sound asleep, soft snores emitting from his parted lips.

so beomgyu walked closer, until he was stood directly in front of his sleeping leader. "soobin" he whispered shaking his leader softly, when this didnt work he started to shake soobin more aggressively, hoping that the man would actually wake up this time. thankfully this worked and soobin stirred in his sleep before his eyes fluttered open.

"what? whats going on?" soobin rasped, the protectiveness already starting to kick in. "nothing, i just cant fall asleep" beomgyu shrugged, his face staying ever so serious. "are you fucking kidding me?" soobin asked, annoyed that his sleep had been disturbed by one of his smartest but somehow stupidest member.

"no, i really cant sleep!" beomgyu whisper-shouted. "what do you want me to do about that?" soobin asked sarcastically and beomgyu shrugged, still standing as though he was about to tell his mother he just threw up.

"talk to me or something." beomgyu pouted and soobin shook his head, "no its late and we have practice tomorrow. the best i can offer you is to sleep next to me, but promise me if you do sleep next to me you wont drool all over my pillow again." soobin slurred, his head had hit the pillow again and his eyelids were slowly failing to hold themselves up.

"but what if that doesnt work?" beomgyu asked dragging the 'p's. "and you know i cant control my drooling, it makes me who i am!" beomgyu whisper-shouted with a pout. "keep yelling and i'll send you to yeonjun" soobin threatened, even though it was obvious the man couldnt think straight.

"you're mean! im going to taehyun's room, at least he will actually appreciate my presence" beomgyu crossed his arms over each other and turned away from soobin. "cool." soobin said while placing his thumb up. "now let me sleep" soobin muttered turning his body to face the wall instead of beomgyu.

beomgyu huffed and silently stopped out soobin's room, cursing the leader out under his breath on the way out, not caring that the man could hear him. he was asleep anyway, its not like he's gonna get up and scold beomgyu anyways.

beomgyu took a calm yet speedy walk towards taehyun's room and opened the door that made a sound as it opened. "tae?" beomgyu called out quietly. taehyun being the lightest sleep only when it came to beomgyu's voice had immediately shot up at the familiar sound.

"hm?" he hummed and beomgyu smiled to himself. "i cant sleep, can i sleep in your bed tonight?" beomgyu asked and taehyun nodded his head, but it went unnoticed by beomgyu. however, beomgyu didnt need to see taehyun's answer to know he was allowed.

beomgyu just knew taehyun well enough to slip in the cool bed, that felt warm quickly due to the sleep body next to him. "night tae tae" beomgyu said 'cutely.' "goodnight gyu" taehyun smiled, and though it was barely visible beomgyu smiled back, a feeling of ease and warmth flowing through out the room, making it feel welcoming for anyone who had stepped foot inside it.
