The Party was still fighting Goblins left and right

Jaune: ( I didn't foresee this.....many goblins to come after us. Fran we should pull back.)

Fran: No!

She charges forward followed by Juniper watching her back

Fran: ....to weak.....

She whispers

Jaune: ( huh?)

Fran: I won't get stronger if I Run away!

Jaune: ( Fran. Learning to Live to fight another day is important.)

Fran: I can't stay like this.....I want to get stronger.

Jaune: ( strength for strength's sake isn't a good thing Fran.)

Fran: I want to.......to be a Hero! Just like you!

She slices a group of goblins easily

Jaune: ( Fran.....I don't want you to be like me. Don't try to be me......I'm no Hero.)

Fran: but you're the Rusted Knight! Everyone's Hero!

Jaune: ( just because someone told my Tale simply by seeing it doesn't mean I've saved Everyone.....when it mattered most...I failed.

I failed someone I cared about, failed to protect a friend.....and I failed to save the world ( Mantle) )

Fran: no, you're a Hero and no matter what you say will ever change my mind! I'll be a Hero too!

She rushed forward blocking arrows and took down the archers

Those that got behind her was trampled down by Juniper

Jaune: ( I see...I was just so worried about protecting Fran.....that I was codling her. She doesn't want 'Borrowed Power' she wants to find True Strength.... She has committed to a rough Journey....I should commit too.)

He watches her as she fights feeling inspired like when he was a kid himself

Jaune: ( alright Fran. Keep going I got your back.)

Fran: mhm.

One goblin was able to get a shot on her as she was cut in the face which Jaune instantly Heals

Jaune: ( mind your surroundings!)

Fran: got it.

She fights on throughout the day until Sun set when she was done, she was a top a hill of dissolving goblin corpses

Jaune was Healing her though the day

They were still going through the forest until they happened upon their Hideout

Jaune: ( this looks like where they came from.)

Fran: let's go....

Jaune: ( No the sun is setting and you're exhausted and there's gonna be way more of them inside. Let's fall back and recover for now.)

She nods as she went back to the pile she left as a marker

Once there they were met with more company

It was CFVY and teams of Adventurers

Velvet: Fran, it's us.

Fran relaxed her guard as they asked her questions

Adventurer 1: look at all the goblin bodies....did you do all this?

Fran: mhm.

Adventurer 1: I'd that's true then you should be a D Rank Adventurer.
