Something was different

Jaune was training Fran with her New Spells and she was quickly adapting and getting stronger

Before when she had only Basic Magic Spells, she was finally able to Master them now she just needs to learn the advanced spells that Jaune shared with her

Like her fiery personality she prefers Inferno Magic but she has developed a liking to Thunder Magic or Zappy Magic in Fran's own words

Jaune noticed she was getting more and more capable of handling herself in combat, her battle sense, instincts, strength and agility was already far superior to what Jaune was when he started his journey at Beacon which made him smile 

Fran was slowly moving on from Borrowed Power but at the same time Jaune feels sadness that One Day Fran will no longer Need Him anymore

He pushed those thoughts back as he enjoyed being her Parent for the moment

Fran finished her round of training way beyond the required results

Jaune: it seems that the New Gear improved your results by a bit.

Fran: it's so comfy and easier to move in.

Jaune: if you were being limited by your previous combat attire why didn't you tell me?

Fran: you said I looked cute in it.

Jaune:..............Fran if you feel uncomfortable about something just tell me. I'm you're Father you know.

Fran: yes teacher....Father.

Jaune just rubs her head making her ears twitch

Jaune: that's it for today. Let's take a break.

Fran: mhm.

They went to the stables to feed Juniper and Jet

It was then a couple of familiar faces showed up

Coco: hey Fran how's it going?

Fran: Coco! Velvet! It's been a while.

Velvet: yeah, busy with some quests how about you?

Fran: we just finished another Dungeon.

Coco: moving fast through the world huh.

Fran: yeah.

Velvet: so who's your new friend?

Fran: he's Jet an Onyx Wolf that I made friends with at the dungeon.

Coco: you sure are popular.

Jet: Woof!

Fran: you can pet him if you'd like.

Coco: aww thanks. Who's a good boy?

Jet: Woof!

Velvet: hey Fran word here is that your friend is not only the talk of the town but it seems like it's spreading around Vacuo.

Jaune: ( that's bad.....Salem and her lackeys would be quick to pounce on this new enemy that's just surfaced. I need to teach Fran everything I know and quick. But.......if she knows then "they" also know of Fran.)

Velvet: is Jaune there?

He then materialized and spoke

Jaune: have you heard any news about the Capital? And about Atlas?

Coco: yeah a lot of refugees were accepted a few weeks ago.

Jaune: any news on Team RWBY?

Velvet: they're at the capital doing whatever that's needed.
