Chapter 40?

It was another ordinary day for Remnant as everything was finally peaceful

Without the Grimm only Humanity is the one who poses a threat to this peace

Jaune was simply farming and minding his own business

Until he heard loud noises as he looks at the distance

He sees dust clouds and they were heading for him

Once the dust settled he found himself face to face with a group of bandits

Bandit: alright Farmer, give us your harvest. If you want our protection.

Jaune: protection from whom?

Bandit 1: who do you think?

He kicks over a stack of hay bails 

Bandit 2: us.

Bandit: pay up or we'll shake you down.

Another bandit was getting ready to light the place up

Jaune looked at all of them and saw they were untrained and ill equipped punks looking for a quick buck

He inhales and exhales as he closed then open his eyes

Jaune: do you really want to do this?

Bandit 1: what was that? Did you say something you old geezer?

Jaune: old?

Bandit 2: didn't you hear the man, you old coot?

Bandit 3: come on old man give us the goods.

He lets go of the hoe in his hand

As he inhales and exhales one more time letting out a big sigh

Jaune: ( I guess fighting truly is in my blood. )

He then gave them a smile and then suddenly

Bandit: what are you smiling at yo....

A fist met his face as we see a tooth fly out and he was sent flying towards the bikes they were riding

Bandit 1: what the hell?

Bandit 2: you are dead old man!!!!

He opened fire on Jaune as it did nothing as his aura automatically shielded him

He sighs again

Jaune: you shouldn't have done that.

Bandit 3: he's a Huntsman!

Jaune then proceeded to take them all down very easily not even a challenge

He used his Aura to completely enhance his strength and run over the wannabe bandits

Once everything was dealt with Jaune called the local authorities and had the punks arrested

Even with peace was achieved there will always be idiots to disturb it

But that wasn't Jaune's problem as he had already given so much for Remnant

Then the Huntsman arrived to take them in

And surprisingly the one who came was Ruby

Ruby: trouble seems to find you Jaune.

Jaune: that is 'your' specialty Rubes.

Ruby: heh, I'll take these guys in. Did they damage anything I could have the Office pay for anything lost.

Jaune: nothing of value was lost. 

Ruby: does their dignity count?

Jaune: they lost that when they picked a fight with a simple farmer.

Ruby: nothing about you is simple Jaune. Well I'll catch you later, still got my rounds to do.

Jaune: good luck out there Hero.

Ruby: that's you, you goof ball.

She carted the punks on a wagon and went back to town

Jaune sighs as Juniper approached him after watching the farm

Then suddenly something happened

A crack in reality appeared as Jaune looked at it

Jaune: well I guess I can go on adventure again and shake the rust off.

He gave Juniper an apple

Jaune: watch over the farm will you. I'll give you a reward later.

Juniper: yip!

Jaune then suits up as he once again becomes the Knight

And jumps into the Portal
