The Overlord is Back?

After what seemed like forever, the elevator finally reached the 100th floor. The ninja were greeted by Cyrus Borg.

"I would've guessed ninja to sneak in a window, not use the elevator."

Jay looked like he was going to burst with excitement. "Ah! Oh, my gosh. Are you-? Are you-?"

"Cyrus Borg? Yes. Unfortunately, when my parents gave me a name like that, my future in technology was predetermined."

Hope was hiding behind the other ninja. Even after everything, meeting strangers still made her nervous. She almost fainted when she saw that Cyrus had mechanical legs that looked like a spider's.

"Ah, yes, these," said Cyrus, as he had read Hope's mind. "Sadly, I've been disabled all my life. But it's nothing my mind couldn't fix."

As Cyrus gave Zane his condolences for his father, Hope looked around.

"Isn't this the same place the Overlord was destroyed? Who dreamed up the idea of building a corporate headquarters here?" asked Kai.

"Ah, what better way to send a message to evil that we won't cower to anyone," said Cyrus. "I see. Or better yet, I don't see the Golden Ninja."

"Oh, his hands are a bit full, but we can tell him to stop by when we see him," said Cole.

"No, no, no. I'm glad it's just you five," said Cyrus quickly. "I wanted to give you a gift."

The 'gift' turned out to be a statue of Cyrus Borg himself, and he instructed Kai to protect 'them' with their lives, which confused him.

As the ninja carried the statue back to the elevator, Kai said, "Guys, something weird is up with Borg."

Jay misunderstood and said, "They're called artificial limbs, Kai. I know you hate machines, but you don't have to be rude. We're his guests."

" I mean he was acting suspicious. Like he was scared. He said we had to protect "them" with our lives."

Unfortunately, they accidentally dropped the statue and it broke.

"Oh, great, now look what you've done," complained Jay.

"It's hollow. There's something inside," pointed out Zane.

Inside the statue were five strange weapons and ninja suits. "Huh. Why would he give us new ninja outfits? Guys, hate to admit it, but maybe Kai is onto something," said Cole.

A robotic voice suddenly announced, "Techno Blades located. Apprehend. Will the assailants please stand down and drop the Techno Blades?"

"What?" asked Hope. She felt alarmed now.

"Guys, these must be the Techno Blades. We have to protect them with our lives," said Kai.

The elevator suddenly started to drop, but luckily the ninja were able to climb out of the elevator and jump to the next one. Hope was terrified. Had they been a few seconds late, they could have plummeted to the ground.

"Looks like we just quit our day jobs," said Cole.

"Oh, my gosh! Our students!" yelled Jay as he pointed through a window. The machines were going totally berserk and were aiming for Nya and the students.

The ninja quickly changed into their new robes and went out of the elevator into a room. It was only then when they realized that they didn't know how to use the Techno Blades.

"It's not sharp. Why even call it a Blade?" asked Zane.

A robot attempted to shoot the ninja but ended up breaking a window instead. The ninja fell out, but luckily Cole was able to grab a rope and the others held on to him. They hit a window and ended up falling into an aerial work platform.

Later, Kai was telling the others what he knew while they all lowered themselves using a rope.

"Do you really think it's the Overlord?" asked Jay fearfully.

"But how? We all saw Lloyd defeat him," said Cole.

"Defeat, yes. But can he be destroyed?" asked Zane.

Suddenly, Zane told Cole to throw him. Although puzzled, Cole did as asked.

Zane landed on a mechanical helicopter and used the Techno Blade on it.

"So the Techno Blades hack," said Hope.

The ninja managed to use Zane's vehicle to pick up Nya and the students.

"We need to get everyone to the bus. I have an idea," said Kai.

A corrupted Pixal tried to grab Nya's leg, but she kicked her away.

"Get to the academy as fast as you can, sis. We need the Golden Ninja," said Kai.

"What about you guys?" asked Nya.

"We have to help the citizens," said Hope.

Cole jumped over the bus and hacked a mech. "No one calls me pedestrian!"

"I always said Mr. Cole was my favorite," said Brad.

"Alright, so these Techno Blades can hack into their systems," said Kai.

"So, what do you say we do a little hack-attack?" asked Cole.

"Zane, Kai, you take to the skies. I want Cole, Hope and Jay on the ground. And I'll do what I can for the people," instructed Wu.

Kai went to hack a jet while Jay hacked a tank. Hope looked around and finally went to hack an electric car. She was nervous as she had never driven anything before.

"We have to get the Techno Blades out of the city," said Kai.

"But what about Sensei? We can't leave without him," said Zane.

Kai came up with a plan. "There! I'll pick him up and meet you guys at the intersection of Wilfert and Fleming."

However, there were so many security mechs that the plan almost seemed impossible. Suddenly, there was a golden blast from the sky.

Lloyd had returned.
