Lloyd made his golden dragon disappear and joined the other ninja.

The Overlord appeared on an enormous screen. "So you couldn't help yourself. The Golden Ninja, we meet again."

Lloyd wasn't scared at all. He had become much more confident in the past year. "Overlord. I defeated you once, I'll defeat you again."

The Overlord laughed. "Oh, I don't want to fight. I just want your power."

It was clear that the robots were absorbing Lloyd's power as he used it. Wu stopped Lloyd from using his power.

"We need to get you and the Techno Blades out of the city," said Kai.

"I don't think he'll let us leave," said Cole.

"I have an idea, but I don't have much time to explain. Listen close," said Wu.

The plan was for Wu to run with the Techno Blades and then secretly give them to Kai. Although the plan was successful, Wu ended up getting captured.

Lloyd was distressed about leaving his uncle behind. "We have to go back for him."

"We will, but only when you are safe," said Kai.

"He wants these weapons, and for some reason, he also wants you. Remember, this was Sensei's plan. They can't break him," said Cole.

"I'm worried about Alyssa and my parents," said Hope. "What if the Overlord kidnaps Alyssa again?"

"You should have faith in your sister," said Jay. "She's a lot tougher than she looks."

"We will come back to New Ninjago City. And when we do we'll be ready," assured Zane.

The ninja escaped in their respective vehicles to a grassy area and his them under leaves. Nya also gave Lloyd a Techno gi so that he wouldn't be detected by any drones.

Misako came over and was surprised that the ninja were there.

"The Overlord's back and New Ninjago City has fallen under his control. He has Sensei Wu," explained Lloyd.

"Wu's tough. There's a reason he's lived as long as he has," assured Misako.

"Well, where's Dad?" asked Lloyd.

"Yeah, where's Lord Garmadon?" asked Kai.

"He no longer goes by Lord. Here, he is Sensei Garmadon and he won't be back until this evening's lesson," said Misako.

Hope was surprised. She had been calling him Garmadon inside her head because the Lord part was weirdly formal for her. She didn't know that Garmadon was a Sensei now.

Misako then spoke again. "Come in, but your weapons are not allowed. Ever since Lloyd saved his father, Garmadon sworn an oath to never fight in hope to make up for his evil past. It's an oath he takes very seriously."

"But we were supposed to protect these with our lives," pointed out Kai.

"You guys go on ahead, I will stay back and watch over them," offered Zane. That was good enough for the other ninja, who gave their weapons to Zane.

The ninja passed by some kids, who ran up to Lloyd excitedly. Hope talked to the other kids, but then she saw a girl looking at her phone in fascination. "Guys, look at this," she said. "It's so funny."

Hope liked funny videos, so she took a peek. However, she was horrified when she saw what it was about.

The video was about drunk Alyssa flirting with Jay. Someone had even put music in it.

Oh no, thought Hope. This wasn't good at all. She made a mental note to warn Alyssa about it.

The lesson Garmadon taught the ninja and some kids was The Art of the Silent Fist. Lloyd eagerly volunteered to take part in the demonstration.

"The Ultimate Battle: Round Two!" said Nya.

"Attack me. But please, no powers. I happen to like my monastery," said Garmadon.

The kids laughed at that.

Lloyd tried to attack Garmadon, but he kept ramming into objects. This continued until Lloyd landed a flying kick into a support column.

"Pupils, I give you the most powerful ninja in all the land, the Golden Ninja," said Garmadon.

Lloyd became angry and made an energy ball appear. "Easy, son. It is only a lesson," said Garmadon.

Lloyd calmed down. "Sorry, I don't know what got into me."

"You let the anger take over. I know that feeling well. Now, let's divide into groups," said Garmadon.

Hope sparred with Nya. Nya quickly mastered the move, but Hope found it more difficult.

After a while, everyone heard a female scream. They ran outside to find Zane with a tied up Pixal.

"It's Pixal. But how did she find us?" asked Cole.

"How about we take her apart to find out?" suggested Kai.

Zane stopped Kai. "Please, she was only doing what she was programmed to do. She may hold many answers, but perhaps there is an easier way. "

Zane took his Techno Blade. Garmadon looked like he wanted to protest, but Jay assured him that it wouldn't harm Pixal.

Zane hacked Pixal, erasing the Overlord's corruption. She looked extremely confused. "Where am I? Why am I tied up?"

"You were under the control of the Overlord," explained Zane as he untied her. "How did you find us?"

"They've mined Sensei Wu's memory. The Overlord knows all of your hiding places." said Pixal.

No one had told Garmadon about Wu's capture, and now he looked alarmed. "My brother. Is he...is he okay?"

"Yes, but the Overlord wants your son. His Golden Power is the only way he can escape the digital realm and become real," said Pixal.

"Why did Borg give us the Techno Blades to protect? Why are they so important?" asked Kai.

"Because together, they can reboot the system, wipe the master computer clean, and destroy the Overlord virus for good."

"Really?" asked Hope. "That sounds too good to be true."

Pixal gasped. "I didn't come alone."

"Uh, who else is with you?" asked Jay.

"Nindroids."

Dozens of nindroids suddenly appeared in front of the group.

"Six vs eighteen. Probability of survival too low to quantify," said Pixal.

The nindroids were extremely fast, and it was a real fight for the ninja. Nya stopped Lloyd from using his powers.

Zane ended up getting damaged, and it was clear that the ninja were no match for the nindroids. They provided a distraction by making their vehicles move using autopilot.

The ninja knew that they had to go somewhere else. "I'm coming with you. If the Overlord wants my son, I'm not letting him out of my sight," said Garmadon.

"Wait. If he wants me, and the Techno Blades are the only things that can stop him, shouldn't we split up, just in case?" asked Lloyd.

"Good thinking. Zane's Falcon knows the secret location of my Samurai X Cave. You and your father go and take what you need to get as far away from us as possible," said Nya.

"What are you guys gonna do? Those Nindroids aren't gonna let you step one foot into the city," pointed out Lloyd.

"We're gonna shut down the power."
