Evacuation

Hope was stunned to learn that the boys had snuck into a spaceship and were now in outer space. Nya took her to Borg Tower and managed to contact the boys.

"Hello? Kai? Anyone? Can you read me?"

"We read you loud and clear," said Kai. The ninja appeared on a screen, though Lloyd was upside down for some reason.

"Hi guys," said Hope tiredly.

"Whoa, you look and sound terrible," said Cole. "Shouldn't you be resting?"

Hope knew that she looked bad. Her hair was messy and untied and she was wearing a jacket over her pyjamas. "I didn't want to miss whatever you are doing."

Wu spoke to the boys. "Good to hear you boys. We're going to get you home safe. Pixal was able to find the blueprints for the rocket. You need to escape the cargo hold before it's too late. Near the front of the ship is an A2 storage compartment. Inside are emergency spacesuits."

"That will be a doozy," said Cole. "We can't get the spacesuits unless we go outside. Problem is, we can't go outside without the spacesuits. Any other suggestions?"

Garmadon covered his microphone. "They are completely out of their element. Even if they get through this, what chance do we have of getting them home?"

"Uh, we can still hear you," said Kai.

"Yeah, we could really use some encouraging words right about now," muttered Lloyd.

"If you cannot change your circumstances, change yourself," said Wu.

Hope stared at him. That didn't make any sense at all.

"Zane, you're the only one who can survive outside the ship," said Pixal.

Zane nodded. "She's right. I'm the only one who doesn't need oxygen. I must go alone."

The next few minutes felt really tense. No one could see what the ninja were doing. Hope held her stomach, unsure if she was going to throw up. Then a voice came.

"We made it!" said Lloyd. Everyone cheered.

The group listened to the ninja fighting some nindroids who had found out that they were there. But then there was buzzing. A lot of buzzing.

If that wasn't bad enough, the tower was broken in by Pythor, other nindroids, and the Overlord, who ordered to seize the building.

"We must go," said Wu.

"But we have to warn them," said Garmadon. "We can't just leave them without telling them what else is out there."

"Grab everything you can," instructed Wu.

"Get on my back, Hope," said Nya. "I will carry you. There's no way you can run in your current condition."

By the time the nindroids burst into the room they were in, the group were hiding on a window climbing platform. "He's vulnerable. We must fight him now," said Garmadon.

"No. Not until we get the ninja home safe. We must get back in contact. We need to find somewhere we can't be found," said Wu.

"I know just the place," said Garmadon.

The group were all carrying the computers used for communication, and Nya had the added burden of piggybacking Hope, who felt like she was going to faint. She was dry heaving as she tried to keep herself from throwing up.

"Hurry. Use our momentum. Together. Now!" said Wu.

The group jumped to another platform, but Wu missed it. Fortunately Garmadon caught him in time.

"Great. Now we'll never get out of here," grumbled Nya.

"Leave that to me," said Pixal. She summoned a helicopter. The group went into it and set off.

Hope started to feel extremely dizzy and nauseous. "How long more?" she asked faintly.

"Nine more minutes," said Pixal. "Why?"

"I feel sick. I want to throw up," said Hope.

"There aren't any barf bags in here," said Wu.

"Can you hold it in for a bit longer?" asked Garmadon. "If you throw up here, it could get very messy."

"I... Don't know. I have been holding it on for almost twenty minutes," said Hope.

Nya hugged her. "Don't focus on throwing up. As soon as we get to our destination, I'm putting you to bed. You are not in a fit state to be participating in missions."

Hope moaned as she covered her mouth. Clearly she couldn't hold it in any longer.

Nya set up the computers in the helicopter. Unfortunately the ninja had encountered some bugs which ate through metal. But they decided to use them as a weapon against the nindroids. It worked for the most part, but the bugs ate the rocket.

This was worrying, especially since the nindroids had used boosters to take whatever was left of the original golden weapons back home.

Suddenly, the ninja had an idea of using the leftover metal and their elements to make their own ship. They quickly got to work at once.

Pixal sent the ninja's vehicles to fetch them.

"Guys, I have ten seconds before I throw up!" warned Hope.

The helicopter landed at that moment, and Nya brought Hope outside.

Hope was sick all over the ground. And her clothes.

"You okay?" asked Nya.

"I... Don't know," said Hope. Then everything went black.
