Lloyd had been so weak from having most of his golden power taken away that he had to stay in bed for a week. He was very paranoid and begged his father to stay with him at all times.

Hope visited Alyssa in the hospital to tell her everything that had happened, but she saw her arguing with Jason.

"I can't believe that you harassed Jay!" yelled Alyssa.

"He deserved it," said Jason.

"I just lost my parents! I can't believe that you have the nerve to show up and insult me! I'm sick of being called a slut and a cheater!" yelled Alyssa. She sounded close to tears.

Hope looked into the room. "Alyssa?" she asked.

"Hope," said Alyssa.

"You," said Jason. He stormed towards Hope, who quickly shielded her face.

"Wait a minute," said Alyssa. She slowly tried to stand up. "Why is Hope acting the way she does when my parents yell at her?"

Jason rolled his eyes. "Does it look like I care?"

Alyssa suddenly gasped. "You... You hit her, didn't you?"

"So what if I did?" asked Jason.

"We are through," said Alyssa. "I refuse to date a guy who will hurt my sister."

"I already dumped you," said Jason.

"Get out. I never want to see you again," said Alyssa.

Jason gave Hope a scornful glare before leaving.

Hope sniffed a little. "You... Didn't have to do... Do that for me."

"Hope. You are my only family left," said Alyssa. "There's no way I am letting anyone hurt you. I saw how scared you were when he looked at you."

"Alyssa, do you think I am pathetic?" asked Hope. "I mean, I could have easily defeated Jason in a fight."

"No, you are just traumatized," said Alyssa.

"Thanks. And if you want, you can come and live with me and the ninja when you get discharged."

"Would they mind?" asked Alyssa. "I mean, they don't really know me that well."

"No. They would love to have you," said Hope. She hugged Alyssa.

After Lloyd was better, he made a decision. And that was to give whatever was left of his golden power to the other ninja except Hope as her powers didn't influence his.

Honestly, Hope didn't mind. Having all that power sounded like a lot of work. Besides, they had some work to do.

Kai went on a solo mission to sneak on a train heading to Ouroboros. Lloyd went to search the Glacier Barrens.

Hope sighed. She felt a little shivery. Was she sick? She was with, Wu, Garmadon, Cole, Zane and Pixal at Borg Tower. Jay and Nya had gone on a date to the movie theatre.

"Lloyd won't be happy if he finds out that you went to watch a Fritz Donnegan movie without him," Cole had warned Jay.

"That's why I don't plan on telling him," said Jay. "Once this whole nindroid mess is over, I will take him to watch the movie."

Hope excused herself to go to find a medical kit and checked her temperature. Hope found that her temperature was 38.2 °C.

"Great. Now I have a fever?" asked Hope. "Could this get any worse?"

Hope tried to make her way back to the main room, but she felt very tired. She sat down and rested her head against a wall.

The next thing Hope knew, Nya was gently shaking her. "Oh thank goodness. I leave for a few hours, and the next thing I know you are burning up and sleeping in a corridor."

Hope found out that she was in her bed and was wearing her pyjamas. She tried to get up, but Nya pinned her onto the bed.

"Oh no. You are staying there. Understood?"

Hope sighed. "Alright. Where are the boys?"

"Gone to rescue Kai from Pythor and the nindroids," said Nya. "By the way, did I mention that Pythor is white now?"

If Hope wasn't sick she would have bolted up at once. "What? How is that possible?"

"Apparently getting eaten by the Great Devourer can do funny things to your appearance," said Nya. "Now just rest, okay?"

Hope sighed. She wondered if she had gotten sick from going to the hospital too many times.

Hope dozed off for a while, but she awoke to hear sniffles. She opened her eyes to find Nya crying. She slowly sat up on bed.

"Nya? What's the matter?"

Nya gasped. "Sorry. I thought that you were sleeping."

"Why are you crying?" asked Hope.

Nya went silent for a while, then she said, "Jay and I had a fight."

"What?" asked Hope.

"People at the movie theatre kept making fun of us because of that silly video of Alyssa kissing Jay, and Jay came to my defence. But then he mentioned of how I saved his, Cole's and Jason's lives and I couldn't stand it and told Jay that it was you."

"He didn't react well, did he?" asked Hope.

"He got mad and asked why I didn't tell him. I... Couldn't answer. I had no idea what to say. I... I don't mind not being a ninja, but Jay told me that he would have been fine if I had just told him that you cut the wires. So we... We broke up."

"But... You love Jay. And he loves you," said Hope.

"It's fine. We're still friends," said Nya. "We might have discussed it further, but then we found you in the corridor unconscious."

"I'm sorry, Nya," said Hope. "I didn't know..."

Suddenly, Nya's bracelet beeped. "There must be news on the boys."

"I'm coming," said Hope.

"No, you're not. Not with that fever you have."

"Nya, I am allowed to see if the boys are alright, right?"

"Fine, but you are not going to fight," said Nya.
