Jungkook felt the heat rise to his cheeks as he sat awkwardly on Taehyung's lap, their eyes locking for a moment. Taehyung’s expression softened, a playful smile curving his lips.

"Well, this is unexpected," Taehyung teased, gently caressing Jungkook's cheeks.

Jungkook laughed nervously, removing himself from taehyung's lap and then brushing off his clothes." Sorry hyungie, I was just a little excited".

Taehyung stood, his gaze warm. "No need to apologize. I'm glad you're happy but You weren’t a little excited; you seemed really eager to hug me huh.

Taehyung flicked Jungkook 's chin while Jungkook just whined at his rude hyungie's words.

Jungkook didn't hesitate, he took a step closer, wrapping his arms around Taehyung in a heartfelt hug. "Thank you for everything hyungie. I don’t know what I would have done without you. Except my brother and Jimin no one ever stood up for me, I'm glad you're my friend"

Taehyung returned the embrace, his voice soft. "I’ll always have your back, my baby bun."

"I'm not a baby hyungie", Jungkook muttered and snuggled more into his hyungie's chest which made Taehyung feel giddy but he just chuckled and shook his head before hugging his baby more close to him.

Just as the moment lingered, the door swung open, and an employee entered, freezing awkwardly. "Oh, I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to interrupt."

Jungkook stepped back quickly, a blush creeping onto his cheeks. Taehyung cleared his throat, maintaining his composed demeanor. "It's fine. What do you need?"

The employee explained a minor issue that required Taehyung's attention, and Jungkook used the distraction to slip out of the room, feeling a mix of warmth and embarrassment.

As soon as Jungkook stepped out of the room Taehyung looked at the employee standing in front of him and steps forward towards the employee and saying with a threatening deep voice, "It seems you've forgotten that you need to knock before entering the CEO's office. Who hired you if you don’t even know that? If you ever discuss with another employee what you saw here, you won’t find a job anywhere in the world. I hope you understand that, Now leave."

Ye-s Mr. Kim, I'll not speak a word, the employee ran out of the office and sighed once he was put of the sight of his scary Boss.

Later that day, Taehyung had a meeting with Mr. Lee, the father of Sun-jae, a rival who had caused trouble for the company. Knowing the importance of the meeting, Taehyung decided to bring Jungkook along, both as support and to show that he stood by his employees.

As they arrived at the restaurant, Taehyung greeted Mr. Lee with a firm handshake. "Thank you for meeting with me."

Mr. Lee nodded, his expression serious. "I appreciate the chance to discuss this privately. Also I'm sorry on behalf of Sun-jae, he just doesn't know what's wrong and what's right but I'll make sure to make him understand the gravity of the situation. I promise I'll have a deep conversation with him so he'll avoid making mistakes the next time."

"Mr. Lee, I am compelled to caution you that any additional misconduct by your son will have far-reaching and devastating consequences. Your company's reputation, livelihood, and entire legacy are hanging in the balance. I strongly advise you to take prompt and decisive action to address this situation, lest your business suffer irreparable harm and collapse." Taehyung's expression hardened while delivering his words to Mr. Lee very clearly. Mr. Lee knew that this was not an empty threat, but a genuine warning, and so he accepted all of Taehyung's conditions."
