Jungkook woke up to the soft rays of the morning sun streaming through the hospital room window. He blinked a few times, trying to adjust his vision. The sterile smell of the hospital mixed with the faint scent of flowers someone must have left in the room. His body ached, particularly his back, but he could move without too much difficulty. As his eyes slowly adjusted, he saw Taehyung sitting beside him, his head resting on the bed, holding Jungkook's hand tightly even in sleep.

Jungkook’s fingers twitched, and Taehyung stirred. He opened his eyes, and the moment he saw Jungkook awake, a wave of relief washed over his features. "Bun, you're awake," he whispered, his voice filled with a mix of relief and guilt.

With Taehyung's assistance, Jungkook carefully adjusted himself into a sitting position on the hospital bed, wincing slightly from the pain. He then offered Taehyung a small, reassuring smile.

"Hyungie, I'm really okay now. Are you alright?" Jungkook asked softly, his voice filled with genuine concern.

Taehyung's eyes met Jungkook's, reflecting a mix of guilt and admiration. "Bun, you don't need to worry about me. As long as I have you, nothing can happen to me. I'm completely fine. Please forgive me, Jungkook. I was so angry, and I lost control. Because of me, you ended up in this condition. I'm really sorry."

Jungkook shook his head slightly, his expression earnest. "Hyungie, please stop apologizing. I'm fine now. When can we go home?"

Taehyung sighed in relief, seeing that Jungkook seemed to be feeling better. "There are some tests left after that I'll discuss it with the doctor. I've already talked to your family, and you're coming home with me."

Jungkook hesitated, uncertainty flickering in his eyes. "But, Hyungie, how can I—"

Before he could finish, Taehyung gently placed a finger on Jungkook's lips to shush him. "Shh, I'll take care of you, okay? You'll stay with me at my place, and that's final. Now, I'll send a nurse to help you freshen up."

Jungkook nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He appreciated Taehyung's determination and care. As Taehyung left the room to find a nurse, Jungkook's heart swelled with gratitude for his hyung's unwavering support and love.

Moments later, a nurse entered the room, smiling kindly at Jungkook. "Let's get you freshened up," she said warmly. She helped him to the bathroom, ensuring he had everything he needed and assisting him with the process.

Once Jungkook was cleaned up and back in bed, feeling significantly better, Taehyung returned. His face lit up with happiness. "The doctor said you can be discharged today," he announced, his voice filled with excitement. "I'll handle the paperwork, and then we'll head home."

After completing the necessary discharge paperwork, Taehyung arrived to pick up Jungkook. "Baby, I'll carry you," Taehyung offered.

Jungkook, with a reassuring smile, replied, "Hyungie, it's not that bad. I can walk, really, it's okay."

"Alright, baby," Taehyung responded, "but if you feel any discomfort, let me know immediately, okay?"

With a nod, Jungkook accepted Taehyung's help in the car. They soon arrived at Taehyung's luxurious Penthouse, where Taehyung assisted Jungkook in getting out.

"Hyungie, is your mom at home?" Jungkook inquired.

Taehyung shook his head, "No, Koo. My mom lives in Daegu, and this penthouse is private—no one else comes here."

Puzzled, Jungkook asked, "Then why did you bring me here?"

With a gentle smile, Taehyung replied, "Oh, baby, why so many questions? Come inside; you need plenty of rest."

Jungkook nodded, and they entered the lavish interior. "Wow, Hyungie, this place is stunning, just like in the movies," Jungkook remarked, eyes wide with wonder.

Taehyung chuckled, baby, you're adorable. Now, sit down; you shouldn't be standing for too long."

Jungkook settled onto the sofa while Taehyung fetched him a glass of water, which he drank gratefully.

"Baby," Taehyung began, "I'll order dinner. In the meantime, freshen up. Let me show you the room, and then we'll need to apply some ointment."

Jungkook sat alone in the room, his thoughts swirling around the way Taehyung had been treating him so delicately, as if he were a fragile glass doll. In stark contrast, his own family had never been so considerate and treated him like some trash.

Jungkook wished Taehyung could stay with him forever. If only Taehyung could start to like him the same way. Though his heart is innocent and pure, his understanding is not so clouded by naivety that he cannot perceive the subtle yet significant differences that exist between the tender sentiments of love and the bonds of friendship."

But then, Jungkook thought about Taehyung’s status: rich, handsome, and famous, while he was just an ordinary secretary.

Soon, Jimin hyung would return, and Jungkook would have to go back to his own world—a world without Taehyung. The thought of it felt strange and unbearable. He knew how busy Taehyung was and how rare their meetings would become. As these thoughts overwhelmed him, tears started to fill his eyes. How would he manage without Taehyung? He loved Taehyung more than a friend, but that was wrong. Taehyung deserved the world, girls and boys die for his one look even from the richest families, why would Taehyung even choose him and he was just...

Jungkook's thoughts were interrupted by Taehyung's voice calling out, "Baby, come downstairs. The food is here."

Quickly, Jungkook freshened up and went downstairs, seating himself next to Taehyung. Taehyung looked at Jungkook and noticed his red eyes. Concerned, he asked, "Baby, what happened? Did you cry? Your eyes are red. Is your back hurting a lot?"

Softly, Jungkook replied, "No, Hyungie. It’s just that some soap got into my eyes while I was washing my face, probably why they’re red."

Taehyung said, "Oh, be more careful next time, okay?"

Jungkook nodded and then asked, "What’s for dinner, Hyungie?"

Taehyung replied, "Pizza for me and porridge for you."

Jungkook protested, "What? Why? I want pizza too, Hyungie! I don’t want porridge," he whined.

Taehyung chuckled and said, "Baby, stop being so cute. You just got out of the hospital and haven’t eaten properly since yesterday, so you need to eat something light now. We can have something nice for breakfast tomorrow."

Jungkook pouted but nodded reluctantly and began eating the porridge.

As they ate, Taehyung’s attention drifted to Jungkook. He found Jungkook irresistibly cute, especially his doe-like eyes and his lips.

"As Taehyung and Jungkook sat together, savoring their meal, Taehyung's gaze fell upon Jungkook, and he was struck by the younger boy's innocence.

Jungkook's soft, petal-like lips were parted, revealing a piece of rice clinging to them, and Taehyung's mind went blank. He was transfixed by the sight, his eyes unable to behold anything else.

Entranced, he set his pizza aside and beckoned Jungkook closer. Jungkook turned to face him, his mouth still filled with food, his cheeks flushed and his eyes shining brightly. Taehyung's restraint faltered, and he grasped Jungkook's neck, pulling him in to claim his lips in a passionate kiss."
